I do not recommend the espresso drinks. Which is most of their drinks.
Servers were friendly though, so I give an extra 2 stars for that

The guy working there named Chris was very helpful. Made some delicious lattes! Coffee is amazing here. Definitely will be back!

Loved it. Good cold brew, great service. Lil pricey but id still go back. Their coffee bean selection is awesome.

Empty in the off season, within walking distance of the village where I stayed, and, most importantly, great coffee. My double cappuccino that had superb flavor. Staff was friendly and there's a good vibe to the spot. Just what I needed to start my day.

Came in to buy some beans and try a latte as I like to do when visiting new places.

Unfortunately the shop was closed due to weather, but they sold and some beans. The freshest they had was around 8 days old, a bit older than I like to purchase typically. Bags are not sealed and do not have one way valves to let the beans gas off after roasting.

Talked to the barista a bit about dosing and brewing process specific to their beans, he had no idea what I was talking about. I expect that at a chain, but when you are roasting your own product at least know some basic barista technique.

Only gets a 4/5 for the beans being quite good, otherwise I'd have gone lower. They're pretty dark roast, which kills a bit of caffeine, but does make for a very pretty shot and drink. Would have preferred some fresher stuff on the shelf and a sealed bag. Owner has some small areas to improve upon which would be easy and make a big difference.

Having had coffee across different states I can say unabashedly Big Bear Coffee Roasting offers a delight not to miss! Read the meanu and go with what calls to you. Mine was Mother's Camp! Love Hazelnut, Love Camping and Love my Mother. And BBCRC gave me another Love!

It was a hot day, and I had to drive down the mountain on not enough sleep, so I ordered an iced red eye. The barista didn't hide his disdain for the concept of iced coffee, but he wasn't unfriendly about it... and it was the best iced coffee I've ever had.

Small shop w owner passionate about great coffee. Full range of drinks and wide variety of origin beans and flavored beans roasted on site. Authorized Chemex dealer too.

Great coffee taste, has a lot of coffee flavors which you can smell the sample, but just regular flavor with cream and caramel is the best. A lot of parking, crowded but cozy inside
