An iconic location with a small patio. Alfred is good at creating the perfect drinks. This location can get busy with tourists. Small patio is a nice spot to enjoy your drink, nice California weather and people seeing

Great place nice outdoor seating. Some of the prices are not bad others questionable. BUT, my order was WRONG and it jacked up the price. ( The difference between Avocado $3 and cucumber which I actually ordered for .50 ) it was not even busy! How is a small chocolate milk, a medium Chai, a crescent, and a bagel $26.00? Next time I come to a group event I will brown bag it.

Good coffee but the location feels a bit run down, the other Alfred spots are nicer and with a bit more indoor seating.
Nice staff, a good spot to pick up coffee on the go.

The coffee the customer service can be little better and more friendly...only the reason thier not is because this location is busy busy all day long...

The coffee from here is absolutely amazing! I came here while visiting my parents and was so surprised at how good it really was. My wife and I usually go to Starbucks but man this place blows it out of the water! I will definitely be back soon when we visit again! The staff was also extremely nice and helpful when I was there and needed a recommendation! We got the hot mocha and espresso, both of which were amazing!

I been getting coffee at this location for the past 1 year and recently on my way to work I am making more frequent stops than before.
I used to love this location but it’s just getting out of hand, the coffee tastes like water 3rd time I’m getting it.
I thought it was just a type of latte but it’s pretty basic vanilla latte, I got mocca latte yesterday, still no taste.
Like you drinking hot water with milk.
$7? For this?
I’m extremely disappointed.

Such a lovely spot. Incredibly quick service and lattes were delicious. Def recommend the famous iced vanilla latte & matcha latte! It’s also right across the Beverly Hills sign, which makes for the perfect photo op.

I paid my first visit to Alfred when I was in Beverly Hills and looking for a cup of joe that was not from a national chain. The small cafe on the corner of Beverly and Santa Monica managed to meet my expectations. I ordered a cappuccino and the Rico breakfast burrito. The cafe had a nice vibe, with plenty of places to sit. My cappuccino was delicious, with a rich and unique flavor - definitely superior to similar offerings from Starbucks. The breakfast burrito was simply okay - I’ve had much better for much cheaper (also there was a fried egg instead of the advertised scrambled). If you are looking for a cafe that’s a bit less generic than Starbucks, than I’d recommend giving Alfred a try.

This is a tiny place with definitely invites you in to have some coffee and relax with your friends. The coffee itself is strong and tastes amazing and as good as the coffee in Seattle. However, the coffee that was served to me was much less than 8oz. The coffee cups are creative, the servers are happy to answer any questions you have and lines are sometimes long but it’s worth the wait. It’s all part of the “But first, coffee” experience.
