Outdoor tables without much traffic.

I'm from out of town, always hope for some hospitality. Whoever was serving the order out window was having a serious attitude problem. I asked for a little more cream. She seemed very put out.

The best in the bay!! My first cup of other than "moms" brew, was when I was quite younger. The staff is extremely helpful and the atmosphere is great, loving it!!

This is the original Peet's coffee location. Cool memorabilia inside and great coffee.

So good to return to my favorite corner coffee shop, after being away for 30 years! Iconic Berkeley spot

Peets is a great local institution that has created a country wide brand. This location offers many different roasts of fresh coffee that you can purchase ground or whole, along with typical coffee shop offerings.

The original location has a great local crowd and a good vibe. There is not so much seating though and people tend to linger so take your cup to go and walk about North Berkeley.

First peet’s ever! Nice that there is something special about the location other than the usual bomb coffee and tea.

Boycott Peet's! Alfred Peet must be rolling in his grave at what has been done to this temple to Berkeley's coffee habit. Now the mother ship has been 'improved' to look like all the other stores in the chain. Feh! For more comments, you can read my review of the Pete's store on Shattuck Avenue.
