Stayed over in Bakersfield one night on a California road trip. Everyone was like why Bakersfield. Cafe Smitten made it so worth it. Cutest spot! Plenty of space for people working. Plenty of parking. Lots of delicious options including baked goods & more hearty breakfast options. Delicious fancy coffees. Had a lovely experience and would absolutely return if ever back in Bakersfield.

We had breakfast and coffee, absolutely delicious! Seating indoors and outdoors. Back patio has fans and misters to stay cool. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table.

Great coffee, fantastic atmosphere, must stop if you are in the area.

I love it. The staff is always friendly and the meals are prepared quickly. Very tasty. My only complaint would be the prices for a slice of pie but everything else is great
