Cafe Smitten

Absolutely the most charming and authentic cafe in Bako.

I'm here on business for a few hours and they offer a wide array of food offerings from all meal types and times , am to pm.

Outdoor seating is plentiful and parking is easy.

Customer service is amazing.

Stay awhile...you'll enjoy the vibesss.

Smart and trendy cafe. Light and fast food. Delicious almond shake.

Food ingredients are not well balanced at all. My breakfast burrito had way too many bell peppers. I ordered a dry cappuccino and asked for just foam, no milk, and got an espresso with a cup of warm milk. The music is wsy too loud. However, the employee that brought my food was very pleasant.

I come here every week and it's always nice. We went with a big group recently and still the service was excellent and fast. I recommend the sweet waffles.

Found this gem in Bakersfield on our trip. The Breakfast Burrito and Vegan Sandwich were so good, we came for seconds on our way back. Moroccan Eggs are delicious and filling. Kids loved their Bagel Egg and Cheese sandwich. Also tired their Almond Milk Rose Vanilla Chai latte and Maple Spiced Latte, definitely recommend both!

If you live in or ever find yourself passing through Bakersfield go here. Great food, coffee, and people. Since discovering it I have come here every time I head to the desert from the Bay.

Our first time and it was great, we loved it. Friendly staff and a really clean place to hang out. We ordered the avocado smash and steak sandwich and they tasted really good. Cappuccino, jasmine green tea and green tea matcha latte recommended, definitely will be back to try more from the menu

So far, the best coffee experience we've had in Bakersfield. The food and personnel match the high level of coffee crafting here. Totally awesome heated back patio. So worth going to Smitten!

Drove through Bakersfield on our way to Death Valley. Great town to stop by for coffee. This is a gem in the town. One of the best coffees. They have plant base milk options and the matcha latte is one of the best ive had in the US. Great service, great coffees hop ambience. What not to like?

Banana cake was fantastic. Tuna sandwich was average. But overall so good we came by twice!

Nice setup with quite a bit of seating. Wifi for people who want to get some food or beverages and maybe work on some school work. Food was good and prices were reasonable. It can get very busy very quickly here. Plenty of parking though right out front on the street or in the parking lot on the side of the building. Customer service was good.
Will go back again sometime soon.
