I only buy one item here, Country Loaf, which is very good. The 2 star rating is for the lack of variety at this bakery. A few croissants and some rolls. A really good bakery has a large variety of cakes, pastries, muffins, scones. This bakery, while what they do is good, leaves much to be desired. Pictures are of other bakeries.

Holy moly crazy delicious bacon-dates scones. Unlike most scones from elsewhere, theirs has a nice crunchy exterior with a dense but moist center. A perfect light breakfast to go with the smooth coffee in the morning. A great find in the central valley.

The croissants here are amazing!! Expensive, but very delicious, both the sweet and savory ones. They also warm it up for you if want!

It's a cute place. I got a ham and cheese croissant that I had to ask to be heated. It was not heated all the way through. It was just ok. Nothing spectacular. Probably won't go back

Friendly & Delicious!! Choose from a variety of croissants and the changing fresh loaf of the day. Loved the breakfast sandwich!!!

This place is unreal. We enjoyed a lunch sandwich and picked up some side bready. I also have an espresso drink which taste amazing. Thanks!

The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and I will be happy to go back when I'm in Atascadero.

Oh the croissants! Best I have ever tasted. The almond was amazing as suggested by the staff. Feta and cheese was great too. More stops will be required before we go home!

Not vegetarian friendly. There were bread samples, of which I tried one. Something tasted not quite right and I saw a sign that said "bread of the day - bacon" so I asked if the sample was of the bacon bread. She said "yes, isn't it good?" I replied "no, I am a vegetarian." She replied that it is good to cheat sometimes. I said no it isn't and she said "well, it won't hurt you." Despite her personal beliefs, the correct response would be at least an apology for not clearly labeling the bread as containing bacon. Maybe a free coffee? The food and coffee are overpriced. This soggy french toast and a coffee were $15.

Cute little street side shop. Loved the spinach feta crossiant
