California Coffee

More Expensive than my other coffee shops that I go to. Outside area Noisy, lots of traffic going by. Weak coffee. A friend of mine wanted to go there, I didn't want to tell her that I went there before and it sucked!

Best coffee and the owner is amazing one of the most hard-working moms I've seen in action..I love the Cowabunga with an extra shot of expresso and I'm so excited to spend time on that patio and have a nice glass of wine....so cool!

Ordered my daughter a smoothie, the ingredients were listed as "strawberry, banana and yogurt"- so what's all this at the bottom? Syrup? Strawberry flavoring? Yuck. If I knew that stuff was in it I wouldn't have ordered.

Such a cute coffee spot with a dog friendly patio as well. Coffee was great with friendly service.

Best mocha my wife ever had. I had the drip coffee. In the back you can see how they measure the beans and the way its ground. Right away I knew it was going to be good and it was. Light roast black and hot! Was damn good. Breakfast sandwiches were great as well. I ordered to-go but they had a good atmosphere as well.

The dawner breakfast sandwich is my go to with a wide selection of fancy coffee drinks to choose from. Keep it simple or spice it up, lots of options here.

Delicious cold brew coffee! Nice sunny patio in the midst of the redwoods. I ordered a bagel and cream cheese with veggies and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Best coffee shop. Chill vibes. Great for study get togethers or a quick in and out cup of joe. Been here for like a long time and will continue to be my favorite next to Pergolesi!

Stopped here last minute. Service is fantastic! Had burritos and coffee. Burritos were amazing and coffee was great! Definitely stop here!

Not sure what happened! This place used to be pretty good. It used to be called Surf City Coffee and the coffee, pastries, bagels and customer service were all on point. Can’t recall when it changed to California Coffee but since that time everything’s kinda gone down hill. We got bagels from there the final time we visited and they were mediocre at best. Wife asked where they came from and barista said “Safeway”. Bummer we paid an inflated price for a Safeway bagel. Anyway, save your money for other local coffee shops like Cat & Cloud, Verve or Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting that have amazing coffee, pastries and bagels.
