We drove in from Oklahoma to visit Crater of Diamonds State Park. We looked at food options prior to our visit and thought this place looked good. We were beyond pleased with the food and service. We ordered the sampler for an appetizer, it came out hot and fresh. Very delicious and great size for one or two people to share. I ordered the low country boil meal, the portion size was great for one person and the taste is authentic. My husband ordered the crab cakes with a gumbo cup and cole slaw the serving was a little smaller than we expected but the flavor was excellent. The staff was never seen without a smile and had excellent customer service skills. The owner was on duty as well and more than willing to talk with customers in regards to their meal prep or just general conversation. We also enjoyed some music from a local musician(I am assuming he was local anyways) he was very pleasant to hear from and willing to take requests. Overall, it was an outstanding experience and a relaxing atmosphere.

This was the best lunch I’ve had in a long time! Delicious mushroom Swiss burger, awesome boudin balls, fresh catfish. Everything was excellent. Very friendly staff, too. This is a great place to stop if you’re in the area!

I took a trip from TN to Texas and back. This was honestly the best experience out of my trip.

We are traveling through from Arizona to Raleigh NC and spent the day at Crater of Diamonds State Park. By 5:00pm we were dirty, thirsty and hungry. Locals suggested The Feed Bin on Courthouse Square. Despite our appearance we were given a very warm welcome. Since Louisiana cooking is unfamiliar to my husband, the owner took time to thoroughly describe everything. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The service was the epitome of southern hospitality. We ordered just about everything, appetizers, entrees and dessert. As other guests arrived they were greeted by name. Soon the Feed Bin was buzzing with activity, yet the warm service did not taper off even though they became quite busy. My husband even bought a T-Shirt. We were shocked when we got the check it was SO LOW. We double checked to make sure everything was on the check. When we got up to depart we received fond farewells and wishes for safe travels and of course "y'all come back now".

The staff was fast, kind, friendly and professional! The food was AMAZING! We are definitely coming back every time we are in the area. They have the 2nd best burger I have ever tried. Perfect restaurant!

Late lunch. Gumbo was good, but salty. Boudin balls were tasty. Natchitoches pies were good too. Over cooked burger, lukewarm fries. Good service.

We highly recommend this place. This restaurant was absolutely delicious and true to Louisiana cooking. We visited this restaurant after doing some diamond digging and we ordered lots of items from the menu including the crab cakes and the gumbo. This gumbo was one of the top gumbos I have ever had and trust me, I have had a lot of gumbo. The poboy sandwiches were delicious as well. The owner and staff were great as well.

Food delicious. There was a problem with one of my side dishes instead of telling me they were out I had to keep asking them. The waitress told me they had to go to the store and buy some ocra. By the time I finally got it my meal was finished and bill was paid. No offer of compensation. However the chicken fried steak was so good I would go again anyway.

Great little place right in the Murfreesboro square. It’s within easy walking distance of all the hotels and shops in the square. This was really a great experience. We were here with friends and everyone was very pleased. You must try the Boo-Jack Rolls. They are scrumptious. It’s our favorite Cajun Sausage, Boudin, mixed with pepper jack cheese, rolled in wonton wrappers and deep fried. They were crazy good with the home made remoulade. Actually everything I ate was crazy good with that sauce. We had shrimp po’ boys, blackened chicken and chicken fried chicken. All was excellent. They have fried cabbage on the menu too, that was super. But the best thing was the Sticky Toffee Pudding! I ordered it TOGO and when the others at the table smelled it, they ordered some, too! Our wonderful server was Grace and she was super. Recommended the Boo-Jack and the Sticky Pudding. Thanks Grace! The shop owner came by to chat and really made us feel welcome. Sorry I did not get her name. Pricing was very good. Cannot say enough great things about The Feed Bin!
