Puritan Coffee & Beer

I’ve seen several negative reviews on here which indicate that the staff are rude, or complain about the temperature (of all things), so I felt obliged to leave a review. Puritan is an iconic Fayetteville staple and is loved by many *hundreds,* or even thousands, even if they don’t leave reviews on here. The idea of fusing craft coffee, craft beer, studying space, and conversation space into one location is genius. The vibe is always on point – both hip and lively, and refined and studious. And the core staff who work there – Mitchell, Luke, and others, are always helpful and have an insane knowledge of the different beer and cocktail offerings they serve. Good vibe and nice for studying. But they won't allow laptops on one side of the building after 4pm. The side were computers are allowed has very limited seating and I ended up leaving because there was nowhere to sit. Also their beer is expensive, but that's expected on Dickson.

Great coffee & wonderful staff. Thursday afternoon, 7/29/21, I spilled my Iced Americano all over the place (and over my scone) and the young woman server was so gracious about it. Not only that, but when I got to my car I found a brownie in my to go bag along with a fresh scone. I mean, how can you beat that!?

My family and I LOVE this shop! The owner, Kevin, is super nice and the service is always amazing. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time. The beer is great too!!

Very nice place to sit with a book, laptop, friends, and enjoy a coffee, tea or beer. Great ambience. You must wear a mask when you place your order, please respect that. They're very reasonably priced on the coffee and tea!

This is a great place for a first date! I had a caramel latte that was delicious. It was really busy, but not too loud or crowded. They could do with a bit more seating, but I loved the place. There was a sweet red heeler when I visited. Can't wait to go back!

The atmosphere of the interior is really modern and clean, definitely a cool spot to hang out for coffee or drinks. Their outdoor area is really well designed too, with many different seating options and good views. They have a great selection of beers, and lots if options for non beer drinkers too.

We grabbed a couple of cappuccino's here prior to walking about Fayetteville. This place has a great vibe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was phenomenal! I love that the cappuccino was a spot on blend of coffee and milk (I often find a lot of places can't discern between a cap and a latte and go too heavy on the milk). The coffee taste was nutty, smooth, and rich. Looking forward to trying out their beer prior to leaving Fayetteville.

Best chill place in town for good coffee, great selection of beer and a quick bite. "Studying" students tend to sometimes overwhelm the place, but that's not necessarily a bad point.

Great oat milk lattes. These baristas know how to steam! Onyx coffee is served (it's so good). Their space is super cute, and the baristas are amazingly sweet. Check them out!
