They have the BEST blueberry pancakes I have ever tasted! When you look at the menu, you may think that they are expensive at over $4.00 each, but they are huge! Cool atmosphere and excellent service too!

Went to Mud Street Cafe on a Friday around 11:15am. We did get seated promptly and our server was excellent. In general, I thought the Cafe looked very run down. The carpet in our area was dirty, the Cafe was smoky (I assume from the kitchen?), the men's restroom was not particularly clean, the men's urinal was out of order and covered with a garbage bag, our seating area had a definite musty smell. One of our teen table staff was dressed in a manner inappropriate for going out in public let alone interacting with customers. Our table was directly across from what appeared to be a backroom storage area with a couple of refrigerators. My confidence was not enhanced watching servers come in and out of the area. I walked past the kitchen to visit the restroom and again I wasn't impressed (small, staff looked rough, long hair, no hair nets, kitchen looked cramped and disorganized). The food was OK (reuben, chicken salad and French dip) but nothing special to justify the $89 bill for lunch. It is not a restaurant I would recommend to others or return to myself, very disappointing.

Cool little place. I was surprised when we went downstairs at how much room there was. Very eclectic and certainly lives up to the unique vibe that is Eureka Springs.

Love the atmosphere! Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I was looking forward to trying this place because of all the great reviews, but it was terrible. It smelled funky as soon as we walked in. The coffee was awful, the menu was lacking, and the food was not good. I was very disappointed.

My husband and I were looking for a nice breakfast place before we headed out on our way back home. I had found reviews of this cafe online and it was only a block away from our hotel so we figured we’d try it. It seemed super quaint and homey, looked pretty busy for 9:45am. We were quickly seated and the waitress took our order. 1 omelet and 1 pancake. No biggie. We enjoyed some of the free coffee and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally at 10:45 we decided to leave. Our checkout at the hotel was 11am and we finally realized there’s no way we’d make it. The waitress never checked on us, never offered more water or anything. I understand waiting for food but I’m sorry, 1 hour for ONE pancake and one omelet? That’s crazy. Wish I could review the food but since we never got to try it I can’t.

My husband and I are lunch here - I got a Waldorf salad, he got a ham & cheese croissant. The setting of the restaurant is unique. The decor looked good and it's got a cool history. I enjoyed the self-serve coffee bar.
However, though my salad did taste good (the dressing in particular was very good) the grapes were whole, and the cheese was 2cm cubes, not shredded, which made it a bit difficult to eat (chopping required, hah). Additionally, though it was priced at $14.50 on the menu, I was charged $17.50 for it, which it definitely was not worth. I will admit that I didn't know this til we'd walked away (my husband paid and he didn't know what it had been priced at on the menu) so I assume the price difference would have been addressed if we'd mentioned it, which again, we didn't notice in time. It's only $3, but the salad was barely worth the original $14.50, so I am miffed at the extra $3.
My husband liked his sandwich well enough, but thought it was overpriced for what he could have made himself at home for 1/8th of the price.
The dessert case looked great, but we didn't try them, as we were still walking around the shops.
