Service was good. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Such a unique atmosphere and history about the cafe and the Food- Outstanding. Had the chicken Waldorf salad and chicken Caesar salad and everything was so fresh. Also a place that dessert is a must. PB pie is fabulous and Turtle cheesecake like no other.

Loved this quaint little spot. We dined during lunch time and the sandwiches hit the spot. I also had the almond joy latte and it was excellent!

We were here for breakfast. Fresh blueberry pancakes, fresh peach Pecan muffin, fresh blackberry muffin and self serve coffee.
Good food, great coffee and attentive service. No free parking, $1 an hour if you can find a metered spot or 4 hours for $5 at a lot. Unlimited refills on self serve assorted flavors of great coffee for $2. Return anytime during the day to refill your cup for free. This is a tourist area so prices are understandably a little high but if you are a coffee drinker, it balances out. They have plenty of specialty coffee, espresso and hot chocolate drinks available.
They are closed on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. I suggest getting there at 8 AM on Thursday morning for fresh out of the oven $3 muffins or their (while the batter lasts) sour cream pancakes. Also all the pies and cheesecakes are fresh. We watched them fill an empty case with all fresh baked goods.
This is down stairs, below street level. I didn't see a handicap access. It's crowded and tables are small. There is another small sister restaurant on street level, Mud Street Annex.

I loved the seasoning that was on my egg, spinach, and mushroom omelette as well as the potatoes. Food was very filling and worth the price. The pancakes are plate sized. Hubby did comment that his sausage was bland but overall a great experience.

This place was not as good as I remembered it being years ago. The food was cold and eggs weren't cooked like I requested. The pancakes weren't that great, but there was plenty of them.. enough for the wastebasket. Wish we would have eaten at our B&B on this particular morning.

I’m thinking it was just because my group went to this place close to their closing time, but all four ordered meals were disappointing. They were all lukewarm, bland, and mediocre at best. While the main courses were subpar, the desserts looked amazing and some people around us who had them had such rapturous that I wish I’d gotten a slice (~$7 a slice). Unfortunately, the possibility of good pie isn’t worth going back for another try.

Very very good! The waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming! The food was absolutely delicious!! The muffins here put the "mammoth muffins" at Perkins to shame! The BEST part was the peanut butter pie!! It was so rich and creamy and the whip cream was HOMEMADE like everything else here!!

I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch, and early dinner at Mud St. a few dozen times. Each visit is 5 star all the way.
The waitstaff crew are always friendly and just all around happy people. The food ranges from burgers, sandwiches, grill cheese, soups, and more. Portions are plentiful and the food quality is fresh and well prepared. Prices are moderate at $9-13 for a plate.
Save room for one of their house made pies and prepare for a divine experience. I’ve eaten a lot of pie in my days and theirs are hands down the best I’ve had.

We had a grrreat breakfast here with our friends from Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge and the staff was paw-some! Excellent food and even more excellent service!
