Have always enjoyed trying new beverages here. Great service. Wonderful atmosphere for productivity, creativity, socializing and even just to sit and enjoy coffee alone.

I had an aeropressed cup of Rwandan coffee made by Kyle, and it was a splendid cup of coffee; it was bold without being too sharp, citrusy without being acerbic. Kyle suggested that it might be too dark, but its robust boldness was not overpowering - I love a good cup of black coffee, and Blue Sail makes a darn good cup of black coffee. They have laid a sound cornerstone. I look forward to trying something frillier next time.
My wife had a fresh chai tea latte made from recently imported raw chai, a rarity in the cafe world. She said it was one of the best chai tea lattes she had ever had - and to top it off, it was served in a mason jar.
The atmosphere is relaxed and homelike, yet with a touch of modern flair. The furniture is arranged in such a manner that the coffee shop can accommodate any size group. A lone coffee drinker can sit at the bar; a small group can cozy up on the sofas around a coffee table; for larger groups, there are 6-person tables that could no doubt be pushed together to accommodate an even larger group. Upbeat yet relaxing lounge music sets a calm tone, and floor lamps gently light up the room. We felt like we could have comfortably stayed there for hours, sipping amazing coffee and watching the world go by.
To top it all off, not only were the coffee and atmosphere superb, but the service was knowledgable and personable. Kyle talked with my wife and me as we waited on our drinks to steep (perhaps the only drawback to such high quality coffee is that it can't come instantly - only come if you have 5-10 minutes to spare). He discussed his love of coffee, how he has studied the chemistry behind it all, his trials with perfecting an aeropressed Rwandan cup of coffee, how the proper purplish hue denotes that it's perfect, and how he is eagerly awaiting a few more rare blends that should be arriving soon. We discussed local coffee culture, the meaning of the shop's name, and more. Kyle was the only one working that day, but he still managed to visit with us and the other customers, all while serving the customers.
In short, these guys get it right - a good coffee shop starts with good coffee, is carried forth with a calm homelike atmosphere, and is crested with affable service. I look forward to coming back to Blue Sail Coffee again and again.

Great place to get coffee, tea, or just to hang out with friends. Also a good place to study, but bring headphones because it can get a bit noisy. Also has a neat patio area with an alley garden.

Having a coffee at Blue Sail is more of an experience rather than just a thing to do. The baristas, the atmosphere, and the music make the place welcoming - no, scratch that- it feels like home while enjoying a coffee or tea. But what matters most is the product the folks at Blue Sail consistently produce. Cup, after shot, after mug, each pour is of exceptional quality. Nowhere else in this state can a better shot, or doppio for that matter, be pulled. The products poured here will match or best anything that can be found in any major market. Perfect rusted iron and copper color with a beautiful oily look and texture hardly describe the créma on their shots, but that's the best I can manage. If it's a regular coffee you're after, well, it won't be regular by any means. You'll wait a little longer for it, but that's what keeps the coffee from being regular. Quality takes time. Regular, is just that. And coffee should never be ordinary. It should be an experience. Pick anything off the menu, take a few minutes to relax, and enjoy what may be the best coffee you've ever had.

Fantastic coffee that's what I expect from a coffee shop and that's what I find at Blue Sail. A few pastries to choose from, tea, coffee in every possible form, great atmosphere. What more could you want? Possibly more seating. It gets very crowded at times.

Friendly staff that didn't mind explaining coffee to a non-coffee drinker. I ordered something quite sweet, but they have many normal coffee drinks as well. Limited food options, but everything I've had was good.

Blue Sail has the best coffee in town. The competition isn't even close. I was a Starbucks diehard until I tried this wonderful place. Keep up the good work Kyle!

Not my type of coffee shop. This is the place you go for coffee if you don't like coffee. Also the place you go if you are a college student and think you're intellectually superior to those around you. Really didn't like the vibe here at all. Might do this place some good to knock their staff and customer base down a notch or two.

Great choice to just chill, get some work done, or meet with a client. Great atmosphere and good seating choices. Drinks and food were good, and the staff are even better.

I loved seeing everyone come in for some coffee, chili, and pastries on MLK day! I saw people from every ethnic background enjoying time together in a local shop that has a diverse staff. Martin Luther King Jr. would be proud! Im proud to have this business in our community!
