My husband bought donuts from this location today, our first time. I grew up in Alabama, and had always eaten Krispy Kreme, and here once we'd moved here (4 years now). The donuts from "Daylight Donuts" are very good, and they are not too sweet, just a good balance. The glazed donut was very good, just as much the apple fritter, so you can see no matter the flavor, still great quality & taste.
If you like donuts, this is the spot! They have excellent custard filled, & blueberry donuts. Not to mention their exceptional kolache's! I five star rate them with their professional attitudes! Great work friends!
The lady working the register was so sweet. We stopped there for an assorted dozen donuts to celebrate a birthday. We were running a bit behind schedule but we were able to pick out the donuts we wanted, pay, and be on our way with no fuss. We didn't have time to explore everything they had to offer but I did notice coffee and juice on our way out. The price for 12 donuts was more than fair and the donuts were delicious.
The lady seemed unfriendly and not wearing a mask while serving customers with donut box right in front of her about 15 inches away in a lower position. During normal times still not so appetizing for food service without sneeze guard over food and now with Covid it's worse. Even when it's not mandated it just makes more sense to wear a mask while getting the food into the box especially when you have to talk at the same time and the food aren't placed shelves with sneeze guard. Products are delicious but definitely made me felt somewhat grossed out. We went to the North Little Rock location and everyone wore masks and very warm and friendly... this was our first experience (road trip stop) and was so impressed that we looked for it locally.
Called ahead and asked about certain products. Then when I got there they didn't have what was discussed on the phone. No prices anywhere except for the kolaches. Boudain kolaches go quick, mine was kinda dry. Guess it's best to get anything as fresh as they make them.
