The Tea Crate

Yummy coffee, tea, sodas..so much to choose from! Girl that served us was friendly and very knowledgeable of what they had to offer. They have free tasting on cold drinks. We also got the popcorn which was good too. A quaint unique fun place to stop when in Batesville.

Great place to get tea, esp from. the drive-thru. Outdoor seating on the roof & patio are a big bonus. There is a restroom. No indoor seating.

I've been here a couple times. One time I ordered just a plain coffee and I couldn't drink it. It tasted as though it had been on the hot plate all day. It was bitter and did not taste good at all. The next time I ordered a chai latte. I don't like my chai very sweet, I prefer a more spicy chai so I didn't love the chai, but it was ok. I'll try it next time not in a latte. The kids ordered Boba and all seemed to love the flavors.

Very cool place the drinks were good Very friendly staff and owner. A bit pricey but well worth it. Wish we had one in Chicago IL.

Crazy expensive for some coffee ordered 2 and payed over 20.00 won't be going back even though the people were very friendly it's just crazy to spend that much money on coffee

I've been a huge fan of The Tea Crate since day 1 of enjoying my first latte from there. Due to being dairy free, I have found they make the best oat milk latte. Recently, I have found out I can no longer have oats. Drudgingly, I had to switch to almond milk. I have never been a big fan of the taste, but they exceed my expectations every time on taste and their staff is absolutely amazing when working with me on flavor combination. They know my usual, which helps me with vocalizing my order. This morning, I finally built up the courage to ask about how coconut milk tastes and its texture. I have been contemplating this idea for 2 weeks. I am neurodivergent so change is very hard for me. Shaelyn was so understanding and patient with me as I expressed my concerns. She sensed my hesitation and she offered to let me try a sample of a coconut milk latte in addition to my usual. I was blown away by her offering. Another reason why I LOVE The Tea Crate 🥰 Thank You Shaelyn!!!

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the vanilla coconut milk latte was phenomenol. My new favorite latte hands down. Shaelyn was spot on when she commented on how the coconut milk tasted flavor wise.

Great tea!! Wonderful atmosphere!! Add a burger from next door and it equals an awesome lunch!

Been wanting to try The Tea Crate for months and finally stopped in this morning. We got an iced energy tea, iced green tea and a hot tea... all were delicious!! Popcorns are great and I loved the banana nut bread!! Will be going back frequently!
