Almost closing time 1:40 pm so I just got a bowl of chili which amounts to about 3 good spoonfuls and not much on taste.

Small menu but good portions and quality. The interior is dated but cozy. It's not a modern, trendy cafe. It a small town diner like restaurant that puts out good food at a reasonable prices.

Great Cafe, Great Sandwich! - We were driving through town as we were chasing the Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive, and we stopped at Market Cafe for lunch. The Reuben Sandwich was great! And, we were very glad to have such a good lunch as we were having a busy day driving. The waitress was very nice and helped us fill our thermos cups with ice water. Thank you for a great visit!

The service here is wonderful! I am kinda a regular and the staff always remembers that i like sweet tea in a to go cup. The food is good.
