Came here April 2022 had a great experience and one of the best cochattas. Returning on 7/31 me and my two friends had what was agreed to be the worst latte and cochattas of our life’s. Absolutely worst espresso pulls we’ve seen and had the displeasure of tasting.
such a cute place and had good coffee!! loved the vibes of the place although it can feel overwhelming at first! i got the horchata latte and it was not bad
Loved the espresso at Cafe con Leche! I had an iced Americano and the baristas did a great job. Super smooth and tasty. It was a perfect compliment to the lunch I had at American Eats. I'll come back again and try a specialty drink!
I read about this place in an April 4, 2018, Tucson Foodie article and the next morning (today) I came here. I'm here as I write this actually. The cafe opens at 6:30 am.
The first thing I noticed was the friendly barista. She helped me understand what some of the menu items were. I ordered the canela creme and a plain bagel with cream cheese. Both are great!
We got the horchata latte which was good but very sweet. It was very similar to the Tibetan chai we get at Cuppers in Prescott. The drinks are pricey but what coffee shop isn't?
The small had two shots which made it slightly more worth the cost. The barista was friendly and helpful.
The cashier was a little flirty and I noticed later on, a refund was sent to my card even though I never asked for a refund. I'm not sure if he did that on purpose (since he was flirting).. I thought that was odd. I wonder how many girls he does that to? it makes them lose money, no? Yes it's nice of him but it's a business and he should be professional. 5 stars (because it's not the owners fault) the drinks I ordered were delicious and lots of variety on the menu. I enjoy supporting local :)
We had two lattes and two pastries and all of it was very delicious. Their piggy cookies were amazing. Only reason for the 3 star rating was because the barista was extremely unfriendly. No smile, no friendly hello when we got there, nothing. Almost felt as if we were bothering her by ordering. I'm a fellow barista and her attitude was very unexpected. Definitely going back because of the drinks and pastries and the food court in general but we hope we encounter a better barista.
First time here: I ordered a 12 oz Americano, $3 on menu. Comes out as 4.88, I asked why and she said because I wanted cream in my Americano it costs $1 extra. Just plain Lucerne dairy milk. Lol. Try find another coffee shop in all of Tucson that charges for creamer. Americano was nice and strong
