Your typical great hole-in-the-wall small town diner. No reservations, great food, creek-side seating, friendly staff... I ordered their famous cinnamon roll. I was expecting the typical picture perfect roll, but instead it looked more home-made than store-bought. And the taste was fantastic. I'm not sure how it was considered "famous" because I hadn't heard about it before, so I'll make it famous on this review.
The place is called the Dinner Bell Cafe, but the don't serve dinner?!?! Hmmm... They actually close in the afternoon, then reopen for dinnertime under another name and service Mexican food.

Had the corn beef and hash for breakfast. I’m usually pretty picky with my corned beef and have to say this was tasty. Not a big place so you may have to wait for a table and also to be served but the food was worth the wait.

Excellent place for ample breakfast of quality food. And this is historic being one of the oldest cafes in Prescott. Plus Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger starred in The Getaway (1994).

The food here is OK. It tastes pretty plain to me. Nothing amazing or anything. They messed up my order but they fixed it right away. The waitresses seem pretty discriminatory. They tend to the white 55+ community. They seem nicer to them. I had a waffle, eggs and bacon. Waffle was pretty basic. Not much flavor. Eggs were also very plain. And bacon was cooked perfectly but it was super salty for some reason. I also had a black bean patty. It was OK, it seemed like it came from the frozen isle of Walmart. The place looks decent, it wasn't dirty and we were sat right away, even though it was crowded.

We want to give this place another shot, so I won't say too much. They are actively looking to hire another cook, and there was only one waitress for an almost-full diner. The simple breakfasts we ordered were not good. Will re-review after another attempt.

Great food and good service. The food is like diner food, made fresh and to order. Great breakfast! Great lunch! They have a front and back and a patio in the back that over looks the creek. The restaurant does turn into a Mexican restaurant at night, which is very tasty.

Every time I eat here I am happy I did! It's the traditional breakfast spot in Prescott for locals for years...No big secret- my coffee cup is never empty, silverware is spotless, tables are clean. American classic cafe.

First time here. Had the Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast. The country fries had good flavor. The steak was "ok" a little bland and not much seasoning. Coffee is good.
I sat at the counter, not much leg room for a tall person.

One of the original breakfast and lunch restaurants in Prescott. Small, cozy, modest decor, 8+ counter stools, mostly booths, a couple of tables. A reasonable selection of breakfast items. I believe they use olive oil on their griddle rather than griddle grease. I happen to like their breakfast country potatoes. Their oatmeal is boiled, not instant. Just a nice cozy, place to have coffee and a nice meal. Nice wait staff.
