Solid food. While the staff was friendly, they actually had too many people working during the time we were there and their communication was poor. Items kept being delayed or showed up twice. Really nice menu selections though, could have just been a bad day. Would go again.

Disclosure: Been to this location before with friends and colleagues and the downtown location for a corporate lunch.

Food: I remember being in love with the sweet potato brushetta the first visit, but my next visit it wasn't available. The menu updates seasonally, and on this particular visit with friends at the Uptown location, I ordered the Steak Frites. I ordered the steak medium rare, and it was melt in your mouth quality.

Others at my table ordered shishito peppers, chips & dips, brick chicken, Caesar salad, and southwest salad. They loved the peppers and chips & dips and had mixed feelings about the salads and the brick chicken.

Ambiance: The patio isn't as wide as it used to be and there's no patio games anymore but the inside interior is still very stylish. Found the restroom hallway lighting a little dim though.

Great new restaurant. The food and service was excellent.

Went there for happy hour. Really good menu and choices. I like that they paired food and drinks to make the most out of the experience there. Highly recommend the 'Rye Rockets in Flight' and the 'Phoenix Sunrise' for cocktails and Funghi Pizza

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The vibe at The Genuine is wonderful. The people, the decor and the food all come together for a great evening!

They actually took the one great feature a Big patio in the back away from traffic cut it in half and moved it out front so we can hear and smell the cars all day and night. Who plans that...Ha

The food was good as well as the drinks a very small place for the amount of people who are interested in dining there. The staff was amazing though

Terrific local place to get good drinks and food in a friendly environment. The drinks and the food are very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Worth a visit for good cocktails and food.

After our flight into PHX from Florida we tried this little spot since it was around the corner from our AirBnB. Great atmosphere, great food for a good fair price service was a little on the slow side but they were accommodating to our limited time frame. Overall would try them again if ever on that side of states. Calamari was amazing and sauce too👍

Tip: Do not order this if getting the Mac&Cheese, both excellent but a little on the heavy side since portions are very large. Would recommend splitting 3 ways with trying other plates or asking for smaller portion.
