Peet's Coffee

Today, I'd been in-transit for the preceding 18 hours without eating any substantive food. I was sleep-deprived & nutritionally depleted. "Michelle" of the Skyharbor barista crew was restocking the food fridge as I stepped in. I asked about a particular breakfast sandwich. But as it was approaching noontime, she explained that this item had already been sold-out.

Nonetheless, Michelle made a recommendation to try the Pesto Turkey Sandwich. That referral was spot-on! Even though this product was obviously pe-assembled, once heated, the sliced sourdough was crunchy yet moist, the cheese perfectly melted, the pesto was flavorful, and the turkey tasted tender-fresh, too. This was THE proverbial home-run hit -- particularly when complimented by a rich cup of Peet's dark-roast.

The fact that this employee gave me 'the time of day' (among the throng of already-descending clientelle) by evidencing her personal interest in my quest for sustenance and a timely referral -- well -- it just struck me as the quality of value-added representation that no employer can really buy. Indeed, Michelle's understated assistance was a gift of grace & proprietary representation when I needed it most...a timely inoculation about why I tend to end up at Peet's rather than at any of the other coffee purveyors that abound.

KUDOS, Michelle, and to the staffing rep that evidenced sound judgement by having hired her...truly.

Passing through Pheonix airport stopped and waited in a line of about 10-15 people to order a medium Havana coffee.

Coffe was great but only half full, when I asked about this the reply was its full. The other half is foam.....

Paid $6 for a half cup of coffee, And half cup of foam. Awesome. I won't be coming here again. Worse than Starbucks

I was looking for something a little sweet, yet a little spicy and decided to stop by Peet's. So I asked the cashier Brianna what she suggested, she gave me a great suggestion and told me that the golden chai is exactly what I'm looking for, she had a great personality! I got my drink and remembered I forgot to ask for almond milk I told the man at the bar and he wasn't to pleased but then Briana popped up and told me that she would take care of it and she apologized. Made me feel more comfortable, I would definitely come back! Maybe for a regular almond milk chai next time

Back in 2018, both my grandfather and I got food poisoning from their bacon. We knew it was the bacon because the rest of my family got other meats on their sandwiches. I had a fever by the end of my connecting flight, and we were both in bed for an entire week. I’ll save you the rest of the details, but suffice it to say that the symptoms of both me and my grandfather made it very clear the bacon was not properly kept. I’ve seen a couple other reviews on here regarding food poisoning, so I take it this was not an isolated incident.

Good spot for coffee and breakfast. The line can be long since it is right after security

Their chi tea is way too sweet and grosssssss! Three of us got it and couldn't drink it. It comes premixed with syrup so you can't get it without, bummer. Also their cold brew tastes like old bitter coffee.

Good coffe and wonderful/friendly customer service. The sugar free vanilla latte was awesome.

Bagel breakfast was small and appears to be microwaved. The bagel itself was gummy and chewy. I think it sells for $9. The vanilla latte was good though. First and last time at Peet's Coffee for me.

Out of most items. Clerk was super helpful.

Pretty speedy service and would pick over other coffee shops every time at the Phoenix airport. Very good lattes.
