While I absolutely love this venue, I am tired of seeing the ownership/management overwork and underpay their employees while also leaving them perpetually understaffed. I recently waited over 30 minutes for an Americano, and had there been more than 2 workers available with a line out the door, this would have been avoided. I see a high volume of business being done every time I come in (weekly), so I can only assume money is being made. When greed rules decision making, profits become valued over people, and eventually, the quality of the brand will erode away. I encourage Dark Hall ownership/management to have some pride in their business: invest in those that make it special so it continues to thrive.

Dark Hall Coffee in Phoenix is a magical spot that's got everything you need for a perfect brew-tastic time. Their vegan treats are wickedly good and the coffee is out of this world! You won't find a negative vibe here - it's all good witchy energy. If you're ever in Phoenix, swing by Dark Hall Coffee and let their brews cast a spell on you! 🧙🏻‍♀️ ✨

This was my first and last stop in Phoenix. I tried as much as I could. Lavender oat milk latte, cold brew, and the special “the altar” I enjoyed all of it. I also had my first macaron ever...(kind of a novelty for me), I’m more of the all pink cookie type. Try any cake! I tried three different cakes and all of them were exceptional.

Long lines but so good and much more creative than most baked goods available :)

Get the scones! I went on two separate occasions and they had different scones each time, one was a black pepper thyme and the other time was a lemon rose. Sooo good that you wouldn't expect it to be vegan. The employees were so friendly and the coffee was good, but I go for the scones. Nice spot to bring a laptop and do with.

Clean, quick, and friendly experience. Unique flavor combinations (ginger and grapefruit cold brew is DELICIOUS) with efficient staff. They allow only two people inside the shop at one time which made me feel safe and good about supporting this business and the staff. All baked goods were fully stocked when I arrived at 7:10 :)
For those who are complaining about how staff have to ask you if you want to tip due to safety precautions (tablet is behind the plexiglass wall): I think you should always tip generously if you’re going out at all during the pandemic! If you’re buying coffee almost $5 a cup you can afford a 15% or more tip. Plus it’s way more awkward for the staff than you!

The atmosphere was honestly the best part of our visit! Such chill vibes, and the coffee was good too! I got an iced chai with oatmilk, cinnamon powder, and brown sugar, and my friend got a cortado. Super delicious!!

The best coffee and vegan pastries in town! Great matcha or vanilla latte. The everything seasoning scone is soooo good.

High quality coffee, cool space, plenty of parking, and really nice shaded patio. Easy access to charging outlets inside, although the internet can be slow.

The coffee here is amazing! I got a latte with oat milk, and I sipped very slow to savor it. I also got a pistachio shortbread that was a perfect pair with the coffee. The best part is everything is vegan so you don't have to worry about what you order! I highly recommend this coffee shop.
