Love coming here! Great ambience, the food and drinks are quick, and the staff is super nice!

Bagel was okay- it was cold vs being toasted. The coffee drink I ordered was just okay. Nothing great- nothing bad - just okay. Staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming- not rude just lukewarm. IDK- Copper Star used to be a great spot. Also- the wait was kind of long for being the only customer. I definitely won't go out of my way to return but if I am in the area, I may stop.

Today was my first visit and I enjoyed it. The outside patio is shaded and has misting to keep you cool. Inside is relaxing as well. There are two places with plug-ins if you need to charge your phone or laptop. They have free Wi-Fi available.
I had the hummus platter and it was pretty good! The blended caramel coffee was excellent as well! Staff is friendly and welcoming.
I was there around 3pm on a Thursday and was the only person there. I'm new to Phoenix, so I was hoping there would be more people so I could meet new friends. Overall, this place is a lovely break from the likes of Starbucks. Try it out!

The best local coffee shop! I can't start my day without one of their iced coffees. Friendliest staff. To die for bagels made on the spot (being from Chicago, I know my bagels). My favorite is the asiago cheese/rosemary. Also addicted to their banana bread. Very cool building - was originally a two stand gas station.

Very LGBTQ+ friendly! 10/10 recommend the atmosphere, food, and coffee... As well as the dog-friendly outdoor patio

I was spending some time in Phoenix and needed a coffee. I went on Google Maps and scrolled past 8 starbucks, a sketchy bikini coffee shop, and probably 2 or 3 interesting coffee shops to see Copper Star.
It was worth the drive. Fantastic Cappuccino, Fantastic Macchiato. This Chai however was something special.
I didn’t sit down planning to eat lunch but after I found myself so pleasantly surprised I grabbed a sandwich, and was blown away.
I don’t get to Phoenix often, but if I do I’ll make sure to get back to Copper Star!

Huge coffee and pastry lover here. We were flying into Arizona on a extremely early flight, in desperate need of coffee and not willing to drink the disgusting stuff at the airport we decided to take our rental car and drive for 15 minutes to copper star coffee. Great decision it was, their coffee is great and their bagels are best I had on the west coast and their pastries are out of this world. We liked it so much we came back on our way back to the airport. Worth it

My husband and I like trying coffee shops around this valley and Copper Star was a great find. The coffees are not overly sweet which is the issue I find at so many other places. The environment and staff is great as well, very friendly and coll anesthetic!
Since it was our first time we also got free pastries which was neat! I got an iced tuxedo mocha and a chocolate chip scone and my husband had an iced white chocolate mocha w/ peanut butter syrup and a cinnamon bun.
We will definietly be back!

Places like this make me furious that I live in the east valley. Impeccable vibes. Amazing coffee drinks that avoid being overly sweet. Great bagels. And I'll only get to go here a couple of times a year because I live in Mesa. So mad I now know about this place. Can't recommend it enough.

I would give them a five but there were just a ton of flies in the restaurant pestering me while hanging out drinking and chatting with a friend. Great drinks, amazing smells since they started making bagels in house. Love this place. It's a five any other day but WOW those flies were annoying.
