Copper Star Coffee

I’m disappointed that I’m writing this because my wife and I have really enjoyed their coffee and bagels for several months now but we’ve struggled during that time to receive good service from most of their baristas (there are a couple that are great). There’s an attitude of “I have better things to do”, an attitude of apathy, like they are annoyed that you’re taking up their time. Like we spat in the coffee. Not hospitable, not kind. This sucks because they claim to be such an inclusive place which would, in my mind, entail some kindness, and they have good product. Copper Star has been good for us because it’s close and the product is tasty but despite this, after today’s visit, that is no longer enough to keep us coming back. There are spots in the area who will treat my wife and I (and friends and family who have been there too and report the same feeling) with more kindness and hospitality. So, goodbye Copper Star. You’ll do fine without us, you’re very popular. Just know we’re walking away a bitter taste in our mouths and hope that your people become kinder.

Update: the same person forgot to make my smoothie twice within a matter of 10 minutes and had to be reminded twice to make it until another employee picked up the slack and made my smoothie. Had to ding them one star for service. But I know they can earn it back, so I'll keep coming

Probably in my top 5 little coffee shops I've ever been to. The baked goods, especially their specialty -- bagels -- are all world class

Every single time I go my drink and my food order taste completely different. I order the exact same drink every-time I go ( green tea chiller with oat milk ) and some days it’s wayyy more red, some days it’s wayyy more blue. Some days it is gross and some days it’s the best thing ever. Same with my sandwich, some days it’s cold some days it’s hot, some times it’s good sometimes it’s really gross. On the days things are good they are VERY good, but it just feels like this place has no consistency what so ever! Feels like every worker makes things their own way rather than following a system. I’ve talked to multiple other people and they’ve had the same experience of extreme inconsistency! Also, have had some experiences of staff being bland and borderline rude.

Coffee and breakfast bagel sandwiches are AMAZING here. The reason for my 3 star rating is mainly due to the customer service. I came here last weekend and was served by a woman with longer hair back in a pony tail and she seemed like she was in a really, really bad mood!! I tried asking if they had any carmel coffee with a smile and she answered "we have carmel syrup" flatly. Turns out they have a vanilla carmel blended drink which I had to find out by googling their menu after the fact. She made it feel like me being there was an inconvenience. I'll still keep coming because I do enjoy the food and coffee, but I can't say I'm not worried to see who serves me and what mood they might be in.

My daughter and I just moved to the area. Went to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed. The staff was helpful and our items were a perfect 10. We definitely will be back

I love this place! I found this place about a month back and have come in 10 times so far each time has been excellent. The service is top notch, everyone that I've seen work there is super nice and the food is delicious! Not only do they have in house daily baked treats but they have actual food some vegetarian option are available too. They take all major credit cards and there is plenty of indoor and naturally shaded patio seating. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but they have drive thru service.

Amazing local inclusive coffee shop and bakery that I am obsessed with. An incredible variety of ice teas and you can get free refills all day long, how can you beat that! The staff are amazingly friendly and kind, and everyone that comes to this coffee shop says hello. I’m a lifer and could not recommend this establishment more.
