Been wanting to try this place but it was far and they made a new location up a little north.
Got the iced vanilla latte and it’s not the best. Taste alittle acidic. Couldn’t finish it so my stomach won’t hurt.

Cartel by Tatum and Shea is a very nice spot to meet friends or take a break from the office. Good coffee, attentive staff and a nice front patio. The patio is uncovered and south facing. Great for the cooler months.

Just had coffee here this morning. She made sure the espresso was pulled correctly after I had a not so good shot at cartel in Tempe. The atmosphere is great here, very homey and welcoming.

I am in town for a few weeks, I live in Central America and I am súper picky about coffee, so I am reviewing as a specialty coffee drinker not as a regular at Starbucks. The egg and Potato burrito was amazing.
However, I came for specialty coffee. I ordered one of the T4 (tier 4) roasts which is suppose to be great quality. The specific roast I got is a single origin from Burundi. Well, I drink coffee with cupping scores from 85-90 daily. Coffee wasn’t as good as a geisha but definitely better than commercial grade 😁 I actually changed my review from 4 to 5 stars while writing this review because as I started to drink more, the flavor profiles started to really brighten up.

the few times I have been I've had great service and the chai tea latte I've had is amazing, but I especially love the chrysanthemum and lavender tea the best so far.

Love this location, always met with a smile and good conversation also ya can’t get a cold brew better than a cartel cold brew, planning to get all my neighbors gift cards for the holidays this year from there

Excellent coffee and great customer service at the Shea location. Desert Ridge has amazing coffee as expected but the customer service at that location was not as good as at the Shea location

Its great to find a place that actually takes pride in the product the serve. Peaberry pour over you don't find that everywhere. Great place, highly recommended.
