Well there were a number of enticing items on the menu. Should consider staying in town a week just to try them all.
But I opted to try the Elvis along with the one egg breakfast with the country gravy and biscuits.

Food was very good but could be slightly improved. I get very judgy with biscuits and gravy and thought the gravy was lacking just a bit. Everything else was great. Atmosphere and staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Great coffee. Overall very satisfying meal (breakfast). I might add that they were so busy that every table was full but employees were still able to attend to everyone. Cool t shirts for sale. I think they are 16 dollars.

Great food, good service but it's the little things that will ruin a dining experience. 3 star rating is because a couple walks in after us, hugs the hostess and staff so she either works there or is very close to them. Then they proceed to bypass the wait-list and grab a table even though they arrived 10 minutes after us. Seating definitely should be first come first serve, especially when it's a busy Sunday morning. Friend or not, they should have had to wait like everyone else.

Located in Payson, AZ the Pinion Cafe is just as you enter town from the Beeline Hwy.. It's a Rustic little Diner/Cafe with a Lot of Hospitality. I had the Denver/Western Omelet depending on where you come from. It came with Seasoned Potatoes, and Biscuits and Gravy which was Flavorful, and Too Much to Finish eating. My server Autumn was Very Sweet, and Attentive which made the Experience even Better.

Wife and I stopped for breakfast. Place was clean and all the staff were pleasant. She had French toast with a side of bacon. I had the Power Cakes, two pancakes with granola and blueberries along with a side of bacon. We enjoyed our food and will stop by anytime we’re in Payson and hungry.

Driving up from Mesa to the Rim for a day of playing in the snow. Decided we would stop in Payson for breakfast. The Pinon Cafe is a place we had been wanting to try out, so we stopped for a bite to eat before continuing our trip. We had about a five minute wait before sitting down. They were somewhat busy and it got a lot busier after we were seated. I love ham and eggs with biscuits and gravy, so that's exactly what I ordered. Was not disappointed one little bit! Eggs cooked to perfection. Generous portion of ham and plenty of gravy. Poured the biscuits & gravy on top of my ham and eggs. It was scrumptious beyond belief. This will become our breakfast stop anytime we drive through Payson in the future.

Not only was the food absolutely amazing. Service was great, we were greeted as we walked in and seated immediately. A server was over within seconds and our order was taken just moments after we sat. Food came out quick. Zero complaints and highly recommended.

Great American favorites abound at this breakfast/lunch diner. The food was phenomenal with exceptional service, every single staff member was willing to help with any need, and they promptly delivered upon any requests. The staff (every member) went west out of their way to accommodate us and we left absolutely satisfied! The cinnamon roll is huge, but have yet to try it, thinking about giving it a shot for tomorrow on the way out of town and will update review if I do.

Waited for a table for awhile...finally seated at a filthy, sticky booth next to a window with dried food on the wall and all over the blinds. Waited for our food for 45 minutes, while others came in, were seated, received their food, and their bill.... then left... still we hadn't received our order. We asked about our food twice; attitude from a guy who was busy flirting with another waitress. Waste of our time... food was so-so and disrespect for us was huge. We live in Payson, won't eat here again. We suggest Beeline Cafe instead!!
