Such a cute place! And friendly service. My sis and i are on a road trip and trying to support local small shops along the way. We tried 2 varieties of Kratum tea a nice bitter drink refreshing on a hot day!

My girlfriend and I came in because we had never tried Kava before. We were a little apprehensive at first, but Johnny, the man working behind the counter was patient, articulate, and incredibly helpful the entire time we were there. We had such a good time we decided to come back the next day and he immediately recognized us. Incredible service and incredible drinks! Highly recommend. Every time we stop in Flagstaff we will be stopping by here!

If you visit Flagstaff or are a local, check this place out! If you never tried kava before, try it! It's definitely an interesting experience. Tried it for the first time here & now I'm making kava at home. Can't wait til my time trip up to Flagstaff!

Pretty cute bar, but the guy running it with snake bites could've been a bit more welcoming. It was our first time ever at a kava bar & it would've been nice if the guy had some hospitality or could smile.

Last night was the first time we had been to Awa Kava. I seriously doubt we will ever go back. We checked hours before we went & online says they close at 10:00 PM.,, we arrived right at 9:00,,, and he was doing a lengthy cleaning on the espresso machine! The guy behind the counter said it would be 10 minutes before he could use it… it didn’t seem like he was any too eager to help us or to have our business!!! Lattes were ok but we’ve definitely had better ones!

Took my friend and girlfriend here and we all had a great time! The gentleman working was kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel at home. I will visit this place each time I go to Flagstaff!

If you would like to experience What it would look like if a sloth ran a coffee shop then this is the place for you. They will be Good but it will be cold by the time it hits your hand. 10/10 What recommend bringing your own lawn chair to sit in while you wait While you are reading War and Peace start to finish. Notable mention there was a very cute dog.

Awesome Kava bar. I've only ever been to 1 other Kava bar before and this one is a lot better. Johnny the guy working there is awesome, friendly, and is super helpful when asking questions about their drinks. They also have kratom and I know kratom tastes horrible if not made properly but he assured me that they brew it in a way that tastes not so bad. I ordered it and it wasn't that bad! I was so surprised. He then added some syrup or sweetener to it to have me try it and it tasted even better. Not bad at all. Also was strong and I definitely felt the effects from a large size glass. My girl got a chai kava drink and it was super good, tasted like a vanilla chai latte or something and he said it still has the "normal" amount of Kava in it, they don't put in less to make it taste better or because there are other ingredients in it too. Anyway, place is great. From the staff to the drinks. Will definitely come back every time I am in Flagstaff.
