The Wandering Cafe

**Update** I've been back several times and it's always amazing. I love the fact they regularly have something new to try! Their winter salad was phenomenal!

Wow. I just have to start with wow. I think this was the best lunch I've ever had anywhere in the valley. I got the fall salad and the tomato basil soup. The salad was absolutely loaded and the dressing was perfectly balanced. The tomato soup was thick, rich, warm, and exactly what I need to go back out into the chilly fall air. My husband got the Pioneer sandwich and immediately demanded I try it. If I could gasp with a full mouth, I would have. Absolutely perfectly balanced and sturdy while being soft to the bite and easy to chew. The amount of toppings were in the perfect ratio. I dare to say it was about as close to a perfect sandwich as it comes.
The food is so good it's worth driving from town for. I found a new favorite lunch spot. 🤩

Quaint Cafe. The temperature of the building was just right. They use high quality ingredients and the restaurant is clean. They have little bits of Alaska decor throughout the Cafe. We will be dining here again!

The tomato soup here is my new favorite! 🍅 I also tried the dilly dally that everyone’s been talking about and it was delicious. If you love pickles too it’s a must try.
For our second visit here we decided to go for breakfast instead of lunch and got to try the breakfast burritos which were so filling and just as delicious as their lunch options.

My go to for amazing and FRESH salads, and sandwiches. My kids love it too, which makes for an easy win for all when we are out to eat! Not only is the food incredible, the owners are top notch community members/humans. Makes it extra easy to support local.

The best sandwich I have ever had, I swear! Such a cute cafe with great customer service and an awesome menu. Highly recommend their “Pioneer” sandwich.

This is the spot for fresh-made food and coffee. I ordered a muffin and a burrito, and they heated up the muffin and brought it to me with a fork. It was nice and quiet when I visited despite being right off the main street. They also have a seed library, and a lot of locally-made gifts (pottery, jewelry, art) for sale. Pick-up ordering also available.

One of the best places in the area to have a sandwich and coffee. The Cafe is warm and welcoming right when you walk in. The staff is always very friendly. The food is always fresh, and they don't use any fryers or grill. I can't recommend this place enough.

Small Cafe with some of the best sandwiches in town! I always make sure I'm super hungry when I come here so I can finish my meal, otherwise it's lunch and dinner! Atmosphere is so bright and cozy and the service is always good 👍

The best sandwich and soup I’ve ever had! I had the Pioneer with a side of Tomato Basil soup! Absolutely amazing, will definitely be going more often :)
