Grind

I'm in town visiting and this coffee shop has some coffee I will miss! The service was great. The second day I went to get coffee, I asked the girl "Can I get the same as yesterday?" To my surprise she repeated my drink without question!

The employees were very pleasant and quick, unfortunately the two times I’ve been here they’ve made my very specific drink order wrong. The reason it is so specific to begin with is because of dietary restrictions and both times I haven’t been able to drink my drink.

So I’ve been going to The Grind for awhile. Recently they launched this Lotus energy drink, which is delicious. Today after my drink order I could here the Barista complaining about having to make it. “I’m already sick of making the Lotus”. Really? Really? Right in front of a customer that just ordered this $8 drink. My advice is if you’re sick of making the same drinks over and over, maybe being a barista isn’t for you. My remedy though is just going to a different coffee shop that makes this same delicious overpriced concoction, without complaining. Their baristas used to be top notch, but now.... not so much. Farewell Grind.

As far as coffee goes, every time I come here it seems that the employees are always messing around I don;t usually mind all the fun and laughs but it is very discouraging for business and for me to spend the extra time it takes when they don't make sure that's everything you needed... I always have to ask for the receipt for my records and it was so busy with other people driving up I didn't have the time before work to turn around. I don't know if I want to come back after this happening again and again.... I'd rather not be late to work.
