Stop here! You will not regret it. At first we felt like it was taking a little long and then we were handed the biggest and freshest breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Piping hot and cooked perfectly to order. Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had. The coffee is also awesome!
We’ve stopped at a bunch of these little coffee shacks during our Alaska trip but this one was the true standout! Wasn’t expecting much when I ordered the biscuits and gravy but man, was it good! And I really love the cup presentation, making it easy to take on the go!
This place is legit! They have an extensive drink menu and they serve REAL food here. It was two dudes cracking eggs and frying meat to make the BEST breakfast sandwiches served up HOT & buttery. I got the egg & pepper jack on sourdough, my husband had the Canadian bacon & cheese on sourdough. They even had golden milk—my favorite. Come by the Mudd Hutt. You wont be disappointed.
Love this coffee shop. Slight discount for bringing your own cup. They always give some sort of treat with the kids hot chocolate and a mini spoon to eat the whipped cream off the top.
Excellent coffee! I had an iced vanilla latte, and my husband had the Mudd Slinger. They were both so good, we almost went back for another round of drinks! We each had a loaded sourdough sandwich as well. Everything was delicious! You do need to be willing to wait 5-10 minutes, but it is SO worth it.
I absolutely LOVE Mudd Hutt's cappuccino and their Dirty Chai! I'm also thrilled that they're now carrying some of my dishwasher safe, weatherproof vinyl stickers! Including my brand new, weatherproof holographic stickers!
First and foremost, though, is the Mudd Hutt's coffee. They know how to do coffee right! I'm extremely picky when it comes to coffee. I've noticed the quality of coffee can really vary from place to place. I'm always sure to remember, and revisit, places that serve good coffee - like the Mudd Hutt.
If you're heading into Seward, from the direction of Anchorage, the Mudd Hutt is on the left hand side of the Seward highway; directly across from Spenard Builders Supply.
Be sure to stop by and grab yourself a coffee or chai!
What a charming owner. Be sure to try her eponymous Sweet & Spicy Dirty Hippie (dirty chai). She has an impressively extensive menu of drink offerings and several milk options. My cappuccino was superb.

The mud hut was ok....the coffee wasn't super good...and wasn't bad... the gentleman making our drinks could have been more personable...
