A classic home-town diner with a comfortable local feel and friendly staff. Lots of menu options, and a classic Fireweed-Honey shake that everyone has got to try at least once. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth a stop by for visitors that want to see what Palmer's about and regulars alike.

Breakfast was quick to arrive and wait staff is friendly. Only reason there's not 5 stars is because the eggs were not seasoned at all, and the hash browns ate only cooked on one side so the other was a little soggy. I know they will brown on both sides, so just ask for that.

Went with some friends, tried the bbq chicken pizza and mozzarella sticks. Pretty good, decent priced, the eggs Benedict my friend ordered looked good as well. Service could have been friendlier.

I ordered the small fish-n-chips, my husband had a club sandwich. Both were delicious but we had to eat really fast and leave most of it because we only had 1 hour and 15min for lunch and it took about 40 mins to get our food. Leaving us just moments to get back to the tour bus.
But if you have time to spare, the food was good.

This diner is really cute, has a very authentic "country diner" vibe and warm, welcoming staff. Have been here once before and had a great breakfest. Today was more of a bust unfortunately especially for my sister who orderer the nachos: Dry fragile chips with greesy, clumpy cheese. My food was fantastic except for the corned beef hash which came as a bruntish sheet (still ate and tasted good enough though). Overall is worth a visit if you're in the mood for old fashioned american breakfests and not mexicane cusine.

Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get, quality is what your expect for a dinner not exquisite but very satisfying. I've been serveral times and have had only one complaint in which they over did my pancakes just a bit, but I asked for some more and was given them with no extra charge or hassle. Great environment, lovely staff.

Waited almost an hour for our food- hamburger, nachos, grilled chicken salad. Waitress was beyond inattentive, husband had to get our boxes and go to the register to order dessert because our waitress flew by laying the check down without asking or waiting long enough for us to ask a out either. This is the third bad experience I have had and will not be going back.

When planning a late-night double date we couldn't find any place that was open past 10pm and then we stumbled upon the 24/7 Open Cafe. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We've gone back multiple times and our favorites are the fries, fritters, and fireweed milkshake <-- a must try!!!!

Rating specifically for breakfast. This place is one of the best in the Anchorage area. Friendly, small town environment and good portions of traditional American food. My family and I eat here a few times a month and are never disappointed, very consistent.

For the first time, my family came out for a concert and we went here to eat and our waitress could barely understand us, and she was a little rude.
