Service was pretty bad... but they *automatically* add a 20% gratuity to *any* order.
They primarily serve sandwiches but don’t have mayo. Tried to order a drink (a coke) and was told that I could go to the restaurant next door. Not offered an alternative.
They brought me the wrong food, but our waitress disappeared before I could point it out and she never returned. Had to flag down another server to correct my order.
The food was mediocre at best... the sandwich dry and bland.
The decor was nice though...
Bottom Line:
If you’re looking for good food and/or service, you may want to look somewhere else.
However if you’re looking for an acceptably decorated restaurant with poor service, mediocre food, and a forced gratuity, then this is the place!

Great chef, great service - a bit more spendy, but it's our favorite place to go celebrate 🥂

Turkey Red, we have missed you!!! Also, the meal we had last night was the best meal of our lives. It was our first trip to a restaurant, dining in, since the COVID-19 Crisis started and it was everything we needed.
The team was taking all of the recommended precautions, we were asked to wash our hands immediately prior to being seated, the team wore face coverings, kept distance while talking with us and provided us with the most excellent service.
And.the.food. WOW! It was all filled with flavor and better than we remembered.
Thank you for reminding us how it feels to be so well taken care of during these challenging times. We appreciate you.

Best steamer clams ever and the broth was amazing. Entrees were a little slow coming out, but that was expected given the type of cuisine and quality of the food. The restaurant has a very relaxing and casual atmosphere with unique food to try something new. We highly recommend stopping in and giving it a whirl if you have a little extra time to visit with family or friends while enjoying an excellent meal.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Palmer, esp for fine dining and gluten free options. I love the BLCT(bacon, lettuce, chicken and tomato) sandwich and salad. Every dinner there is amazing! One dinner I had at Turkey Red, was served with Garlic Mashed Beets. First off: I don't care for beets and second: I wanted nothing but a whole plate of them.
A truly spectacular dining experience. Staff always helpful and be sure to check out their desserts!

Delicious! I had the Spanakopita and the Cioppino and was not disappointed! Great dessert selection as well!

I grew up in Anchorage and used to know where to find the best places to eat. Of course, much has changed since I moved away twenty years ago: a lot of favorites were gone or not as good as remembered; as well there were a lot of new places. We ate well during our one-month stay, but Turkey Red tops the list of favorites. My kids are still talking about the food we ate here. Incredibly satisfying meal, and a new favorite. I will go out of my way to eat here again on my next trip home.

OMGOSH... our new favorite place to eat! Its so refreshing to eat somewhere where the food is healthy & good for you, not to mention, delicious. The staff is also absolutely delightful. Always, a pleasant experience.

I eat here far too often.
The food is consistently delicious and wholesome. I STRONGLY recommend their sandwiches. In particular the Applewood.
Try asking for the Berrywood, it’s not on the menu but adds cranberry to the Applewood. It’s divine.

Ok I hover between 3.5 and 4 stars with Turkey Red but I'll be totally honest and objective because the quality of food is solid but I'm still trying to decide if I actually like that kind of cuisine. I realize that seems counter productive to leaving a productive review but look at it like this..... if I'm still trying to decide if i even like the style of food they make yet I've eaten there multiple times....... thats gotta be a credit to the food they serve. My family is partial to the entrees with the Chicken Bruchetta, the penne, the chicken pizzaiolo and the moussaka all being favorite go-tos' ( spelling is atrocious here I realize but focus on the food man.... THE FOOOOD) haha anyway... their desserts are to die for with variety, quality and price all being on point, every time. You know, in hindsight.... ad I've written this I've realized how much I'm craving the Chicken Bruchetta now and feel like it may be safe to say that this is a style of cuisine I'm in to and hopefully will run in to one of you next time I'm there. You won't regret it ;)
