1. overpriced - $15.60 for a bowl of beef stew, Ala carte. Included a small piece of bread, had to ask for butter.
2. stew was awful - too much fat and gristle, and whatever they put into it had me sitting on the toilet for the next two days. Never again...
3. Phony pretentious atmosphere. I always tip at least 20% but I somehow resent the fact that they add it on to your bill automatically. Bad service? Too bad for you...no recourse.
There are many better places to eat in Palmer.
4/6/22:
food is greatly improved.
Service still very slow. Avoid the young man with the topknot if you have to be out of there within an hour or so.

Amazing gf pizza and bread. Such a hidden gem and I'm so glad to have discovered it on my last visit to the area. Will definitely be going back the next visit!

Turkey Red offers a lot of healthier choices. We were impressed with the fresh, authentic from scratch options. Our favorites so far are the soups and you must try their best teas ever! Their deserts were a wonderful treat & large portion perfect for sharing.

This is my favorite restaurant hands down! I come at minimum once a week and each time have tried something new, which is totally out of character for me, and every time completely enjoyed all of my food! Only wish is that they would add blended iced fruity drinks or even a limeade to the menu, but nevertheless I LOVE this restaurant! People are always friendly anf cookies are bomb! I love the food is reasonably priced as well. Thank you Turkey Red for another wonderful experience today! I'll be back soon!

My friends and I went during lunch hour. It was pretty busy. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Menu options were good. Food was pretty good. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a salad. My friend had a turkey sandwich with lentil soup she said it was very tasty. Good size portions. We also had dessert I had the cheesecake which was excellent however I'm pretty sure that the fruit was frozen and not fresh. The lemon tart was okay, coffee was okay as well, not my fav but palatable. We took some cookies to go, haven't tried them yet but I'll definitely be going back to try more on the menu.

Went on a Friday. Had clam chowder. Outrageously good. Type of place that does not let you put crackers in your soup. But gave me extra bread for dunking in my soup , yum yum. That tells you how good the soup is. I also recommend the chicken linguine that my daughter had. Very big portion very very good. They also have a very huge variety of different types of soft drinks.
Some type of yogurt drink that my wife did not like but I thought was wonderful. It's a matter of taste preference . A good place and a must for anybody visiting our Beautiful State and town of Palmer Alaska. Palmer is Alaska's best kept secret. But I'm not going to tell you what that secret is. You'll have to spend the winter here to find out.

I came with a party larger than 10 people and at first they said a 30 min wait, after 2 minutes they said that we unfortunately can not serve this large party even if we were at separate tables. Honestly if we came in with 2 different groups at different times they would of let us dine in.

I’ve never eaten here but having the small exchange I had with an employee/owner was enough to keep me away. Yea, I’m the woman at the farmers market that “touched” your display. I picked up a product to find the price so I could purchase it and got yelled at. What a c*nt.

The service and timeliness of our food was slow. Once we got our food it was good. If time is not an issue then this place is worth a try. If you have plans for the day and time is valuable to you I wouldn't risk it.
