Local Grounds

Fun little coffee shop located in downtown Ketchikan, Alaska. Don’t mind the wait, it’s worth it for the coffee. They do have plenty of seating upstairs if needed with excellent service. Local Grounds also serves food for breakfast and lunch. Try this place out if you need some caffeine!!

Nice place - the staff was wonderful and there is a HUGE variety of drinks. The service is a little slow, so definitely make sure you have the time if you go. But it's worth it.

Understaffed (during cruise ship landing) and very slow. 5 minutes per customer. Coffee is very good, however. If you got the time…

Great little spot with local coffee, if your on a cruise it’s not far from the port. I gad a breve and it was delicious! You can get stickers and T-shirts too…. Support the local shops!

We went looking for them at this Mission Street location but they weren’t there. Walked onto another street later in the morning and saw they moved. Can’t believe they didn’t update their address on Google.

Slowwwww service. Got the order wrong. Went to check on a sandwich we ordered. After a long wait I inquired only to be told I never ordered that. Find a different place.

Got an iced Carmel latte here twice today and a delicious Thai bowl! Next time I'm in Ketchikan I will be back!
