Great food and coffee! We have been here several times since it opened and haven't been disappointed yet. Kids love the pastries, husband loves the coffee. We still need to try lunch.

Over two days, we ate here three times. The following items were outstanding: drip coffee, cappuccino, cortado, bread & butter w ham and cheese, mushroom soup, thai chowder, biscuit - top notch, different than my homemade, but just as good, the meatloaf was the best I've ever eaten (sorry mom), cinnamon roll, bagel with lox & cream cheese, oatmeal cream cookie, and blueberry muffin. After a week in Southeast Alaska, this is the best food by a significant margin.

Best cup of coffee in town! And the cinnamon roll, outstanding! Really enjoyed my time here this morning. Friendly staff, great food, and a nice place to sit down and get the morning started.

Cute family owned business. I think it has potential for so much more than it showed us. Good macchiato but not great (was too hot- scalding). We just had the French toast pastry but think we'll go back and try other food items. *Edited review based on owner comment. Helps to know you checked temp. Not sure why the pulls we received were scalding. I don't know of a craft espresso pull I've had anywhere in the world that's been scalding hot. Its not a preference, its one measure of quality. **Edited after going back this week - espresso pull was perfect (so perhaps it was the milk in the macchiato that was scalding). We tried all the espresso places in town and found this to be the best. There's also a caramel coffee cake item that's addictive.

We had the biscuit sandwich and the biscuits gravy and both were delicious! We haven’t had biscuits this tasty since we lived in the South. Definitely worth a try.

Great little place, just far enough away from the pier that cruise guests haven’t found it!
Awesome coffee (Cortado ordered) as well as a tasty hot smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel.
This will be my coffee place each time we visit!

Family run - open for breakfast and lunch. Nice selection of sweet and savory. Handful of small tables inside and out to eat at but most take it to go.

Wowowowow! Such a cute place and the food!!! So so good!! Just had the Bialy Breakfast Sandwich and have to say it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Ketchikan. Visiting from NYC and this place is clearly on par. Espresso was strong and tasty.

Pure culinary magic. Everything's made from scratch, and it's all wildly good! Cheesecake with gluten free crust was mind-blowing: so dense and rich, I had it for breakfast and would do it again in a heartbeat! The bakery case is like a jewelry box glittering with riches. Honestly, I haven't had anything sub-par at 55North: the whole menu's a winner and Ketchikan is so fortunate to have this gem of a coffee shop. 10/10, recommending to all!
