Best coffee in town. Best breakfast in town. The coffee beans are freshly roasted. Staff are dedicated to created latte art. Latte temperatures are perfect. Breakfast selection is diversified. Bakery is also top notch. We came here every morning after tasting it once.

Best coffee shop in Juneau! I had a latte and a chocolate cinnamon croissant. Both were the best I’ve had here. The atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy. They also offer a full menu with breakfast and lunch and to go options. The staff is very friendly. Located downtown near lots of cool, local shops.

This was a cool a little place to eat. We went for breakfast. When you walk in, you'll go up to the counter to order. They had some good choices like your typical two egg breakfast. They also had different types of Sando's and variety of fresh danishes. The coffee was pretty good too. Two thumbs up!

The Rookery Cafe is a quaint cafe with delightful food options. My husband and I shared a cinnamon roll. It was flakey and full of cinnamon and sweetness. I had the Bravas potato; it was savory but not overpowering, and the pouched eggs were done wonderfully. My husband had the BBQ pork potato bowl; the pork was juicy and the sauce was savory with a hint of sweet. At this cafe you order and then sit at a table. I suggest asking for silverware as you are sitting, because we needed it to share the cinnamon roll and had to go ask.

The reason for the 4 stars and not 5-The person rolling the silverware seemed very annoyed, and that I was bothering her. She needs to learn how to be a customer service person. She also put my husbands plate of an English muffin on the table and the muffin fell off the plate onto the table. She didn’t say a word, and I had to put the muffin back on the plate myself. Besides the girl with long dark hair who served our food and was rolling the silverware, the rest of the staff was very helpful and pleasant and answered my questions to help me figure out what I wanted to order. I would recommend this cafe, but realize it is a counter service kind of restaurant not a table service. Hats off to the cook- food was delicious!

Excellent spot for breakfast or lunch or a to-go coffee/pastry. It is a popular spot, and gets busy quickly in the morning, so going early if you want to sit and eat is recommended. Otherwise, the line moves fairly quickly, and the wait for to-go items isn't too bad. Waiting for food only took about 10 minutes for sit-down. For our breakfast, I had the Eggs Benedang, and it was terrific. The chicken was crispy and flavorful on the outside, plus juicy and tender inside. It paired very well with the perfectly poached eggs and ham, plus hollandaise with the right amount of spice. My other party member had the Breakfast Sando with spinach, tomato and bacon, and thought it was the perfect size and tasted great. We also split an excellent sticky bun and each had a coffee. Staff was all efficient and friendly, and very on top of the constant flow of customers.

The Rookery is a must try here in Juneau. A down to earth atmosphere mixed with great coffee and tea with the bonus of a fantastic focused menu. Everything that comes out of their kitchen is wonderful and fresh. There is obviously a lot of pride that goes into their offerings.

In addition to their menu offerings they have a small selection of pastries that should be experienced. Their croissants, whether sweet or savory, are delicious. The wife and I highly recommend this establishment and make it a regular little date for ourselves.

Salads are worth the money. Fresh, crisp vegetables, the spinach was not wilted or old and floppy. The chicken was flavorful and the salad was NOT drenched with dressing. PUlled pork was tender, tangy, with a hint of smokey sweetness. The slaw, again, fresh and crunchy. Sometimes slaw is run through a buffalo chopper and darn near minced. IN that form, when it sits in dressing for more than a day, the texture is mushy and and all you can taste is the soupy dressing. All on a toasted brioche bun. Well done. My husband eats here on a regular basis because of the hearty, fresh salads.

Excellent breakfast and lunch, prices were good considering its Alaska, portions are large and the bacon was cooked perfect. The Apple twist was unique and very tasty

Very welcoming and warming place - was my first stop in Juneau, esp on a raining day: good coffee and the blueberry scone was on point on sweetness.
