While in Juneau for the past week I ate at the Sandpiper at least once a day. Every meal was delicious and the staff were always friendly. Highly recommend it!

Breakfast was great 👌 really good service and friendly atmosphere not too fancy but would recommend breakfast before you head out to your adventure

Our meal was very tasty and our waitress treated us kindly. The sourdough ricotta pancakes were a real treat. We also enjoyed the Denver omelet. I was surprised that shortly after they opened (7am) there was already a wait, so try to get there early.

Always great food to start the AM. Very consistent.

Terrible service man at front desk rude and unhelpful . Overaught with too many customers .. waited 50 minutes 2 people got seated . Owner should look at the reservation system . come first serve would have been nice. If you have best breakfast stop in town don't take your customers for granted I am leaving a very review on yelk on your customer service I was denied service for just asking questions and telling your big man up front how good customer service should be run. He overreacted all in line saw that I was just telling him the wait time should be managed better - two reserved tables stayed open for the 50 minutes . Line went into parking lot. Either grow in size or get more polite employees . Terrible experience

The most reasonable breakfast place I had while in Juneau.
They carry oatmeal (very good priced, under $5). It was a nice clean cafe, they had other breakfast options like burritos and pastries and many types of drinks. I would eat here again.

SO GOOD! It was our first time coming here really friendly staff and lots of great food! Next time we stay in Juneau we will be coming here!

Breakfast was great. You could tell they were short on staff, so the service was not the best. I can't fault the staff that was actually working because I didn't see anyone just standing around. Overall, definitely a place I would visit again

This was my favorite breakfast spot on my trip to Juneau. Omlettes were fantastic. Great choice of griddle goodies. House coffee was really good.

Took the mother-in-law on her first visit to the Sandpiper. Don't get the rating wrong, now- I mean it when I say it was "okay." The food was, as ever, phenomenal. I love their french toast, they had a superb selection of fresh fruits, and you could reasonably expect to bludgeon someone with their steaks they're so large.
I'd rate higher if it weren't for the service.
Again, don't get me wrong. We were helped by some lovely people doing their best to take care of an exceedingly busy restaurant. That said, they were short-staffed and it showed. Everything took longer than we've come to expect from the Sandpiper, and we only caught quick glances of the waitstaff as they went sprinting by.
So if the Sandpiper ends up reading this, the only thing you have to do to get a better rating is make sure you have full coverage. I'm sure that won't be a problem in our post-pandemic economy, right? (Read: good luck with that, you'll need it)
For everyone else, definitely come for the food. But be prepared to be patient.
