I like Donna's. It's my favorite diner. It's an actual diner

Best chicken fried steak and sausage gravy in town! The go to place for breakfast if you have a layover in Juneau. 5 minute walk from the airport.

Updated 2023.01.29 Ownership may have changed, quality is still good, quantity have gotten smaller, toast was burnt, we came for breakfast on Sunday afternoon, the place was very busy, almost full, we knew what we wanted to order but arriving, placed our order as soon as we were asked, took about ten minutes for our order to be delivered, about another ten minutes to split our Denver Omelette with burnt sourdough toast. That's very efficient service with a busy staff.
Donna's Restaurant nearby the airport serves large food portions. House salads $5.95 but they serve iceburg lettuce so not nutricuous. The omelettes are quite large, we split an omelette for two. Inquire what their soup of the day is. We had a bowl of chicken with wild rice, the chicken was dry, overcooked. It's more of what a typical diner would offer: large American portions for a large price. Recommend ordering one item to share. Free WiFi, breakfast, credit cards accepted, and actually close by the airport if you allow ample time after checking in to literally walk to the restaurant for a meal here instead of inside the airport. Daily 0600-2030 hours.

There is not a better place to grab breakfast or brunch over the weekend on this entire island. The corn beef hash may or may not be better than my grandmothers but I can't really say that out loud because I don't wanna hurt my grandmothers feelings

We just stopped in to get a piece of pie. 2 pieces of pie $14 + tax + tip. We did get to sit in a old depressing, dark hot, dingy, noisy room while sitting at a outdated old worn out table and chairs. Your attempt to look like an old worn out truck stop isn't working. Please take some of profit you make from your overpriced menu and remodel, the place looks dumpy. The pie ,,, it was ok but if I'm going to pay $25 for coffee, pie and tip I would expect a nice beautiful restaurant in the south of France. Two words for you,,, re model !
Overpriced dump.
Ps, Breezeway has fantastic large pies for $9. Take it home and feed a large family.

Small family owned restaurant. Large breakfast plates. Waffles smell fantastic. The table next to us had those. We had traditional breakfast which was good. The day prior stooped for dinner. Greek salad, grilled cheese dinners. Very tasty. We usually stop here at least once when we are in town.

Donnas restaurant is the worst business in Juneau Al. They will call the cops on you and tell the cops you threatened them and call child services on you. My ex is the manager there and he tells them lies that I’m abusing him but it’s the other way around. The employees told me I should do the community a favor and kill my self. I was also shoved by one of the employees into the owners van for trying to get my son away from these people and they called the cops and lied to the cops. They will ruin your life.
