Coffee is okay, it's not amazing. But I guess what do you expect from a bunch of college students. It really isn't their fault that employees don't stay for long. And because of that the coffee quality varies. As a coffee lover I would say that the coffee is too weak (not enough coffee ground or a light roast). I've probably bought several dozen cups there now. If you really care for quality in your cup of coffee then go to the coffee in the ELIF building. But other than all that, I guess you could drink it. If you want to be sure about a good strong cup of coffee, go for the extra shot.
Healthy food options are WAY too expensive! But donuts are cheap. Great service and selection of food & drink options. Clean, always plenty of seating (even couches!), plenty of consents for pluging in to, and good hours during the winter.
I mean, it is the only coffee shop on campus so it's got that going for it. They are often short staffed (especially in the morning) and I don't know how well trained their baristas are because one especially doesn't seem to airate the milk for espresso drinks. They also had a lot of flyers for a local church for Easter which judt seemed weird, and I have nothing against churches. Are they sponsered by a church or something? I just get the drip coffee, which is usually the best bet. I like how you get a free one when you buy 10. So it is just meh.
I always go for red bull kickers, Ice rages, or coffees, great place to study or go with friends, especially for teens or young adults... maybe not for the food though, it's a little hit or miss on the baked goods...

They have a lot of food options, which are heated by an oven, not a microwave. They also have kombucha which is awesome. Great customer service.

Good Little snacks to eat on the go and they makes their drinks fast. The atmosphere is good. I like to study there. Furniture is the best on campus.

Worked here for awhile. North pole coffee now owns this location. They are good people who have good values and espresso!

I went to UAF for work. The Artic Java had plenty of seating and they have wifi so you can sit down and get your work done.

I like relaxing herw after classes. The food is good, but the coffee is not their strong suit.

While you order your over priced latté and yesterdays cinnamon bun that has been sitting on display you get to experience the rude service of the overworked baristas.
