Black Cup Coffee

Black Cup came highly recommended by our waitress the night before, and it did not disappoint!
The staff were friendly and very accommodating to all of our questions. The environment was very relaxed, and it seemed like a great place to sit and work.
They've even got board games available if you're just hanging out!

Just the kind of place I've been looking for! Cozy coffee shop with a modern vibe, plenty of comfy seating, free wifi, GREAT drinks, and breakfast too.
I had the seasonal drink: violet matcha - it was so floral with the perfect amount of matcha and sweetness. It actually tasted like violets and was a perfect mix with the earthy matcha. A new favorite for sure.
The veggie breakfast burrito is the same one I usually get from Kaladi Brothers - still a favorite in my book. I got salsa and sour cream on the side, and the burrito came to me hot off the press.
So excited I've found a place to relax, have good food and drinks, and get lost in my own little world.

PS you can bring your own mug/cup/yeti and they'll make your drink in it instead of a paper/plastic cup.

Always excellent coffee, customer service and atmosphere. I go to read and charge my devices while sipping their exceptional hot beverages and making new friends. They love my small service dog.

Best coffee in town! House made syrups if you’re feeling fancy. Inspired seasonal specials and overall the sweetest and most skilled baristas. Always a treat!

The shop itself is easy to access and very attractive inside. The large windows and different styles of seating (bar seating, group tables, couches, small tables) is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the menu is straight forward and fairly priced. I loved the art on the top of my friends vanilla latte, and my mocha was to die for! It's like they used Mexican chocolate, the flavor was very unique and I enjoyed every drop. I will be back!

Anchorage is a place for coffee lovers. Black Cup is a place coffee lovers love. The only drawback to this spot is that you might have to wait a few minutes for a seat if you aren’t taking your drink to go. Worth it though, great place to people watch of just dive into a book. Even with all the hustle and close quarters, I’ve always found it easy to relax there. The baristas there are extremely talented...everything is great...and gelato.

Update 11/16/20 - Completely Covid friendly and still one of my very favorites. Sarah makes a mean latte...never had a bad one there yet. Lots of holiday specials...if brown sugar and pumpkin spice sound good, make the trip, you won’t be disappointed.

It's a nice place to eat and have coffee it must be since it's always busy the chairs are a little old and worn out but other then that ita a nice place to hang out

The coffee was perfect, and not too sweet (I don't like too sweet) with flavored syrup, it was perfect :) I also ordered the veggie breakfast burrito and it was toasted to perfection :) it was my first time going there and I feel like I found a new favorite place! I look forward to more visits. Clean and cozy, with friendly staff and service.

Latte with rose petals on top of it brought me here! But unfortunately there were no rose petals 🙁 And they gave us rose latte but I wasn’t expecting it with only rose syrup. I even said I saw latte with rose petals and they didn’t let me know the petals were only available for Valentines day.

But the athmosphere was good and chill. Only thing I didn’t like is the window blockers.

It is worthy to try.

This was my first time here. The staff are genuinely nice people who love what they do. The barista that put in my order took the time to check ingredients and make sure that what she was serving me was actually vegan. Much appreciated! They have dairy alternatives like almond milk, coconut milk, and soy milk. The overall atmosphere of Black Cup is warm and inviting. Plenty of seating and space to grab coffee with a few friends or do some online work (WiFi is available). The menu is simple and delicious, with decent prices and various sizes. I would definitely suggest this place to friends and I will be back very soon.
