1220 Cafe

I've rated this restaurant before and given it a higher rating. However, it seems like in the past year they have cut down on their serving sizes, and also changed some of their menu items slightly to make them more cost efficient for them. However, the items are still the same price for us to purchase. I will just say, I think $39 is too high to pay for 2 turkey sandwiches, a BLT, 3 small little side orders of pasta salad, 2 bags of chips, and 3 drinks!

Very clean very friendly and the food was great. Catfish light and not greasy and the hushpuppies should be their own food group.
Nice atmosphere also, even a rock fireplace.
Will definitely go back.

5 Golden Girls stopped in and had a wonderful lunch!!
Sampled all of the desserts and the cookies! Everything was delicious!!! Everyone there was also very friendly. Will eat here again.

Amazing! The staff here are so kind and nice when you walk in as well as during your dine in. The whole experience is wonderful! I definitely recommend this establishment for all your catering and event needs! The food is amazing and I recommend everything on the menu.

We have eaten here many times and never been dissatisfied. Breakfast and lunch . Best sandwiches anywhere!! Love this place.

Catered for 15 people for a Christmas get together, more than enough food that was delicious! We had cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, dressing, dinner rolls, and two pecan pies. Kudos to 1220 Cafe for a special delicious meal!

For the last two years (2014 and 2015), our ladies group has gone to Cafe 1220 for dinner. We are talking about 35 ladies. We have greatly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the staff. Overall, our experience with Cafe 1220 has been awesome. Pam and her entire staff are great. Very polite and generous. Definitely would recommend this to anyone and everyone in the area.

The presence of the very friendly owner -- the actual owner and founder of the place -- lends this little "can do" cafe a charming air of authenticity. There's a good story behind this joint, and good people behind the counter, doing their very best to please you. For the best experience possible, stick with paninis and salads. (We find the fried seafood items -- particularly the shrimp -- can vary too much in terms of quantity and quality.) In a town with limited options, Cafe 1220 stands out as one of your best bets for a quick breakfast, solid lunch, or trouble-free dinner.
