This is a 5 star Cafe. The food is the best homemade in the world. The staff are so friendly to include the owner Cindy. If you like good country cooking this is the right place to eat.

Totally unlike any other time I have ever eaten at cindy’s! 3 of us got hamburger steak. the meat smelled bad as soon as it was sat in front of us. we quietly told the owner. she argued with us. we did not eat any of it and was charged for it. one of my favorite places to eat but after the way we were treated we will not be back.

Where do I start. For a southern food place well the instant mashed potatoes mixed with water was nasty and the gravy on the top looked like a hard volcano next the Mac and cheese I’m not sure if it was the powdered cheese that was gross or what and the salmon crockets that made me sick. Will never go back. Not to top it all off someone walked out the kitchen area and his shirt made me stop eating. I’m only giving one star because I have to post this guys

Excellent food and service!!! Love coming to this place. I have been for lunch and dinner and both were excellent. From burgers to great pizza and even a little soul food, always a great choice. The atmosphere is historic downtown Prattville at its finest. Please stop in and give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

It was ok, nothing Gordan Ramsey would write homentonmama about. Portions were decent, the Chicken Parm was ok, but it wasnt real chicken parm, it was fried chicken tenders covered in cheese. The sauce wasnt all that great, reminded me of when grandma would cook Ragu and forget the garlic. The hamburger steak lacked, well. It laked taste, the gravy didnt have any flavor either. The mashed potatoes, those were real, real homemade, like mama made.

Pretty good experience to be the first time. Old home made country food.

Chicken and dressing would have been better had the chicken not been so dry, I don’t know what’s in the mashed potatoes but they have a disgusting weird after taste, the roll is hard, dry and not palatable. The only reason I give this places 2 stars is the tea is excellent as was the peach cobbler. I’d heard so much about the place I finally went: first and last visit, oh how I miss Jim’s.
