Absolutely amazing! I came down specifically wanting to find a good beignet and these guys do NOT disappoint! It was hot, flaky, crispy, and still soft in the middle. Their cinnamon and butterscotch syrups were incredible. They are inevitably messy but so good!

A must go to place if you are in the area! Since this is a popular locale, I recommend going once they open up at 9 a.m. as they are quite busy with a steady flow of customers for a good reason! This corner beignet shop has great bay windows in the store front where you can see anxious customers waiting to receive their freshly made desserts; limited outside seating. The moderately priced beignets come in servings of 3 / $4.99 or 12 / $14.99, 3 flavored syrups, (buttercream, cinnamon, and whatever is seasonal) plus coffee and milk. I would love to try 🍋! The beignets are made fresh- waiting may be long so, be patient. I ordered 3 with buttercream and waited about 10 minutes. Oh man - I wasn't disappointed!! This fried dough fluffed up to be light and airy. Not like a croissant but with a light crisp outside and warm fluff inside. What an amazing taste! As this was my 1st time eating these I definitely recommend to sit and eat. 1) They were warm which I believe added to their goodness and 2) all the powdered sugar can become quite a yummy mess! The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean. 2 unisex bathrooms were available and mostly clean. Covid-19, relaxed conditions here and only some customers were wearing masks and none of the staff was. Overall the experience was great and worth taking a pause to enjoy the moment and relax!

Amazingly delicious! They are so good and light with tons of powdered sugar. They are better than Cafe Du monde in New Orleans. This is my favorite place. Nothing better after a Mardi Gras night!

I don’t know what else to say except that these beignets are a little piece of heaven. And that’s before you add the absolutely delicious buttercream or cinnamon syrup. The restaurant itself is airy open and bright. The restaurant is located and what I consider the historical part of downtown Mobile which only adds to its charm. In addition to what was already mentioned the staff is incredibly friendly polite and helpful absolutely love this place cannot wait to go back again.

The tables were dirty and they are short staffed. The flavor was just the same as any other beignet I’ve had.

The beignets were amazing, and the staff was very friendly. However, there were two restrooms one was locked for some reason, and the other one needed much attention floor was very sticky to the point of unusable.. yes I plan to return back to the establishment.

So I eat at the airport Blvd location all the time but could not figure out how to review this location. All I can say is I am highly impressed with the quality and service here. I eat here Monday-Wednesday as well as on fridays for lunch because it’s the perfect distance from my work. I tend to eat at one place ritualistically as I know what I like. Well the team here does to and they have learned my name and order. The quality is that of five guys which I’ll never eat at because of the cost but here I am more than happy with the quality and service for the price. I am always greeted with a smile and a friendly demeanor. I don’t know who needs to hear it but give these employees a round of applause and a bonus because if they treat all their customers as they do me then they should absolutely be rewarded for their efforts. Sincerely, Jonathan hamby.

Oh my gosh, this is so incredible. (She said with a mouthful of beignet) I mean who doesn't like fried dough with confectioners sugar and a gingerbread dipping syrup. I mean, come on people. Yes, it's right after Thanksgiving but seriously who's going to resist this. Not me, that's for sure.
And let me tell you about this coffee. Iced Pecan Praline and add buttercream syrup making it a buttercream pecan praline. Um, yeah. So good!!
So while I was here, the staff gave me these awesome tips. I'll post them on tips for Mo'Bay business page too. The cinnamon syrup goes well with fried apples and as an apple pie filling, take some home today. I love the South people are so friendly.
So I made my way through two beignets and a half cup of coffee. I'm jamming to the playlist they've created on Pandora called Mo'Bay Christmas. This place is awesome.

The food was alright but left something to be desired. The environment is a little weird for me person all yay least, the interior is kind of a strange design that leads to an odd out of pace feel inside. The food is objectively good and I’ll always support a nice start up. Glad it’s doing well.
