Best place in Fort Payne! I got a flatbread with smoked pork and olives and it was to die for, so good. Atmosphere is very nice and cozy.

Good food, great service, we loved the live band.

We were visitors to Ft. Payne, a resident suggested 1889 to us. We had an enjoyable evening and enjoyed the entertainment and food. I even got to do a couple of songs. 👍

Super friendly staff, awesome decor, and variety of menu options

Although they are in the middle of remodeling, it is unique in it's charm. They have the option of opening overhead doors to give the dining room a patio feel. Perfect for spring and fall to hang out with friends.

The staff, was very helpful.... Great service.
Our family ate there for late lunch while on vacation in the area. They were able to seat and serve 10 of us in a timely fashion. Everyone of us loved our food from the sandwiches to the pizza was excellent a very thin crust and the red sauce was very light with plenty of meat and veggies to satisfy.

Stopped on my way home for a little light lunch...very good.

We actually didn't end up eating here. Because we sat at our table for at least 15 minutes without being waited on. This gave us ample time to look at the menu and it felt like everything was overpriced for the environment and the lack of service we were getting. So we left. For a small town, diner type restaurant this was pricey.
