Locally owned with fabulous chocolate flan, fajita nachos & chicken quesadilla relleno. Excellent expresso & peach blossom ginger tea, too! A true gem during a roadtrip.

BEST steak tortas in town!!!! My old man loves the shrimp tacos & pineapple water too!!! My absolute fave place in town I try and get a torta at least once a week 🤣🤞🏻

Five stars all day! That torta was absolutely amazing and the cappuccino is as well. Really looking forward to going back. Great food especially to be so inexpensive.

Wow! Lots of local treats. Chocolate covered espresso beans. Ice cream.

Flavored waters are amazing. Food is very good. Value could be debated.

The original taco quick taco salad is great. It's the same as the original from years ago. The torts are great, plenty of everything on the sandwich. Al pastor tacos are very good. Service has always been great.

Very clean. Fun decor and friendly service. I got the tajadas to go and reheated later. Not the best choice on my part to order for something to reheat later as the plátanos were not as crisp as they could have been but it was still tasty. If you want to try this dish eat it right after it is prepared, that's what I will do next time. I will be making a return visit!

Absolutely love this place. I've tried a majority of things on their menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Their burgers are still my hands down favorite and their fries are well made, well seasoned; nice and crisp. They also have a good selection of baked goods and ice creams.

The Hideout is a hidden treasure. Their Mexican food is some of the best in the area. It also seems a bit more authentic than the “Tex-Mex” fare offered at some of the larger Mexican restaurants in DeKalb County. If that’s not your thing, they offer more conventional American dishes like Hot Wings and Hamburgers. I’ve had both, and it’s always delicious. Their fries are crispy and fresh.
Their drink selection is noteworthy in that they offer blended fruit drinks made in fresh in the kitchen. They also make Lattes, Cappuccinos, and other espresso drinks. They know what they’re doing when it comes to good coffee drinks, and I can be picky about that sort of thing.
The desserts really seal the deal for this place. If the dessert was all they offered , I would still frequent their restaurant. The pastries have always been fresh, with a wide variety on offer. You may have to ask the owners what some of the pastries are. They’re not labeled, and some have custard filling, some have jelly, some no filling at all. It can be a bit hard to tell just from looking at them. There is also a wide selection of iced cream and popsicles that are dangerously good. I recommend the coconut.
I hope the Hideout sticks around. I just brought some friends from work and they were crazy about it. If you’re looking for something besides the typical chain restaurants and aren’t looking to spend a lot of money, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
