I love this place.
For four long years complained that the Gulf Shores area has terrible coffee shops. Everywhere else I've ever lived, I had a little coffee shop sanctuary decompress, caffeinate and get a something decent to eat. In Mobile, that place is Satori - and I finally have one for Gulf Shores now that Gypsy Queen opened in Foley.
I was getting my car serviced up the road and was just DYING without afternoon coffee and saw there was one nearby. (shout to to Jerrell & Angie - if you need a good, honest, & affordable mechanic, go see Jerrell. I drive past dozens of shops on my way to see him)
I walked in FULLY expecting the coffee to be terrible (no offense to Foley, but I was not expecting to find the espresso of my dreams here) but their espresso blew me away. The beans they buy (Mama Moka's I think? I remember they're from Auburn, AL.) made my eyes pop out of my head. Holy hell their espresso is good.
Ever since, I've been back multiple times a week. The owner and all the employees are super nice, and the ham, egg and cheese everything bagel sandwich is killer.
Please patronize this shop - I need it to stay open for many years to come.
Love you guys.

Fantastic coffee at fair prices. Plenty of seating to do a little work or have a meeting and a cozy lounge in the back to relax with friends. Funky and fresh vibes. Great new place to try in Foley Alabama!

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and the perfect coffee shop to study at or go on a date. They've got some good baristas behind the counter, coming from another barista. I'm not sure where they get their food and pastries from, but props to them. This and the copper kettle are the best reasons to visit Foley.

I gave this store a 5 rating because I have no reason not to. Their inspection report shows 99. Everything is nice and clean. Thanks Lindsay for a nice coffee shop. Free wifi, tv, and meeting room. Public restrooms. Chelsa is great and friendly. You seem to have regulars who come in and she knows what they order before they order...that shows you all get to know your customers which makes them feel special and welcomed. I hope she remembers that I like Hazelnut Cappuccino.

A wonderful local shop brewing great coffee and making great drinks. Their espresso drinks are smooth and they have some great specialty items. The bakery items are fresh and the service was great.

The coffee is good, but the place feels awkward. The chairs are not comfortable and the kitchen area is in the middle of the seating area. I think it has potential, but they need to put more thought into the customer experience.

Went in on a whim; glad I did. The coffee (an Americano) was fantastic and the ham and cheese melt was delicious. The vibe here is very Bohemian, very cool. Definitely recommend.

Gypsy Queen Java has been a very pleasant addition to downtown Foley. And they are continually improving. As soon as you step in you will encounter a wonderful playlist of music that has Motown, Classic rock, reggae, and instrumentals. The baristas are friendly, have great personalities, and helps provide remarkable experiences to their customers. They have various drinks with names from hit songs like "Government Mule", "Raspberry Beret", and "Midnight Rider." They also have tea. And yes! They have food (quiche, sandwiches, and baked goods). There's also a lounge area where you can just chill, as well as a back lounge area. If that's not enough, they also have frequent user cards. This place is amazing! Definelty worth your time.

We very much like the coffee and the decor. Would like the Google hours to be more accurate. Hate to get there and find they're not really open until 6.
