Gypsy Queen Java

Visited a few times now. Very friendly service, good coffee drinks, great pastries. The front room is a little stark, stools at window are a little uncomfortable, but back room is cozy and welcoming. We love supporting a local coffeehouse, we hope Gypsy's stays for the long haul.

My favorite coffee shop, and it just so happens to be here in Foley! This place is so cool, and the baristas are super friendly. They have the best coffee selection, and the chicken salad sandwich is amazing. They have a cool quiet area in back for sitting, reading ect. I like sitting at the front window facing 98 too. It's definitely a Specialty coffee shop, and each customer is greeted and treated like a VIP!!

Groovy vibe, amazing drinks and the perfect place to take a break while walking beautiful downtown Foley. Owners/staff are welcoming and everyone feels at home.

When my girlfriend called me for the 3rd time in a week and I was at Gypsy Queen Java, she said... I hope whomever it is, makes you very happy! Lol! It wasn't until I finally got to take her there last weekend that she finally understood why I was spending time at this place. Only when she tasted the coffee herself while relaxing on the retro sofa; did she understand why I would choose this place over the other options in the area. The coffee is definitely one of the best I have had and if for some reason you don't like it or if it is too sweet (as I read in another review) they are more than happy to fix it. The staff is very friendly which makes the experience so much better. The lounge is a great place to to chill, the owners artwork and style makes for a very comfy and enjoyable atmosphere. It is definitely worth the visit!

Very nice, cozy coffee shop. We had regular coffee, general mule coffee, and flamingo chai tea (sugar free). All drinks were served quickly and tasted great! Lounge area was very comfortable and stocked with board games. Definitely a great place to chill out on a rainy day.

Great location and cozy atmosphere in the coffee shop. Excellent service and very friendly employee. We were there only once and the coffee we ordered was pretty good but too sweet for us. So if you don't like very sweet drinks make sure you ask about how sweet the coffee is. Looking forward to come back and try something else. Overall, great place and I do recommend Gypsy Queen Java!

They don’t offer a breakfast blend or even a medium roast drip, only dark roast. When asked if they’d do a pour-over, the answer was ‘no’. People enjoy non-dark roast coffee as well.

Awesome shop! We were looking for something different, something special, local, and quaint. This hit the mark! We both had espresso drinks and a BLT sandwich. Super nice people, excellent food and service, and a cool, funky atmosphere. We will be back soon!

Staying at Gulf Shores and visiting Foley on a cloudy day.... Found Gypsy Queen Java and popped in for a coffee and bite to eat. We had the chicken salad, quiche and a bagel, all great. Loved all the coffee choices too! AND friendly service with a smile!!

Best coffee shop in Foley, AL. Always a good cup of coffee. Very clean. Savanna, Stephanie & the other folks are friendly and efficient. A must "stop" place if visiting, living in Foley or just passing thru. Wally
