Companion Coffee Roasters

Love this beautiful addition to the 7-Points area. My first cup was delicious, refreshing and the description actually matched what was in my cup. Staff was great and obviously enjoy serving customers. The decor is meticulous and integrates nicely with the 7-Points vibe.

And the roaster is functional art. Can’t wait to visit when the roaster is cranked up, surely it’s a “must smell” for north Alabama.

Companion is an excellent choice for a quick cup of fresh coffee and a sweet pastry.

Companion Coffee Roasters is such a wonderful addition to our community. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about coffee. They offer great suggestions if you’re unsure of what to order and make delicious lattes! The pastries they sell there are fresh and tasty. The shop itself is beautiful, warm, and inviting. There’s truly no other space like it in town. They’ve only been open a little over a week, but I’ve been in there every day since they opened—sometimes twice a day! Kyle is truly dedicated to the craft of roasting coffee, and that shows through in the final product. If you haven’t made it in yet, be sure to add it to your to-do list!

Companion Coffee Roasters is the perfect, peaceful place to meet with a friend. They offer such a good selection of coffees. It’s fun to try new varieties. Companion is a wonderful addition to the 7 Points neighborhood.

This place is awesome! The roast the best coffee beans around - the competition isn't even close. I love their single origins the best. They also have a great tea selection in their cool shop.

Companion Coffee Roasters is such a wonderful addition to the Shoals community, especially the Seven Points neighborhood! We have a few amazing coffee shops in the area, but Companion is a completely unique concept and experience for Florence. From raw beans, to the roaster, to the cup - all in one room. Really neat! Their attention to detail in everything they do is unmatched. Every coffee beverage they serve is roasted on site and prepared to perfection. The roaster machine is stunning, every roast is unique. They offer a wonderful array of both coffee and tea options, as well as locally baked pastries. I typically drink black drip coffee and have tried most of their roasts - I have truly enjoyed them all!

Companion is established, owned and operated by a wonderful, young, local family who have a huge heart to see our community grow in a positive way. Their baristas are extremely knowledgeable and charming and will go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for. The shop design, branding, merchandise, and aesthetic are absolutely lovely and impressive.

Do yourself a favor and stop by the next time you’re in the area. Just note that (at the time of writing this review) they do close rather early for a coffee shop, so be sure to arrive before 3pm.

Hands down, best coffee shop in Florence. Great quality coffee for a super reasonable price and really friendly staff. First cup of coffee I was excited about for a while. Super chill and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Great coffee stop! Very cool space to relax and have a cup of coffee. Orange rolls are also very good.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, parking in front of shop. Plenty of other places to check out in 7points area but this place is a must for great local coffee!
