I love having coffee and breakfast at Cafe de Frida. Lots of thought went into the decor so expect a few surprises as you move through the cafe. The menu has some nice surprises as well. It is not your everyday breakfast menu. Lots of variety, prepared lovingly and presented spectacularly. Note these are not gut busting overfilled plates but I’ve never left hungry. The staff is kind, attentive and friendly. Cleo runs a tight ship so everyone and everything is pristine. Be careful as you navigate the doorways and crossing the street from the parking lot.

Good pancakes/pastries, decent burrito, mediocre espresso, bad scrambled eggs.

Some things are great, like the pancakes. Sadly, they also have certain things on the menu that would be better gotten somewhere else. Namely the espresso and burritos cant really compete with Rivertown's, especially for the given price.

The scrambled eggs are worse than waffle house's though, never ordering those again. Overcooked, dry, and flavorless.

It seems they put more effort into some of their menu items than others. The ones they put effort into are actually good.

The espresso really needs work.

Got to try this new place out during 7 Points Restaurant Week and I really enjoyed it! The portion sizes for their food is great, and the coffees are delicious. We had the Frida Sandwich and someone else at the table had the sandwich ranchero. Everyone enjoyed it! The Salsa was refreshing and great to dip the sandwich in. We will be back!

My photo doesn't do this place justice! Everything I have ordered here has been amazing--including the simple peanut butter honey toast I was craving in the photo. Best part is the super friendly service. Everyone is kind and menu items can be altered depending on your preferences. The breakfast burrito is to die for!

Might be my favorite place in Florence! Absolute top notch chilaquiles (I got the divorciados) and tamales. Incredible flavors, excellent service, perfect ambiance. The best dirty chai I've had in a while. I already can't wait to go back.

My favorite Florence breakfast spot! We've quickly become regulars. They're located in our neighborhood, so it's a quick stop anytime we're out. The Dirty Horchata and the smoothie bowls are the best! I love the honey toast too. We're actually headed there now! Absolutely would recommend.

Update: their honey lavender matcha is delicious! You really can't go wrong here.

I think I might be a regular. I enjoyed the Diego special (omelette and pancakes) and so far had the iced Dolce de Leche and Iced Mazapan. They are both delicious. Can’t wait to try more here.

Pictures: Iced Mazapan and my just a cup of whole milk (for my 3 yr old) And a Menu of the coffee drinks.

Not pictured: Dulce de leche drink

I've made myself get something different every time I go and I have yet to be disappointed. This is the Casa Azul and it's a hoss of a sandwich. The desserts and coffees are great as well.

This hidden gem is SO GOOD! I got the burrito blanco and it was a 10/10 easy! super fast service and super friendly workers! Also if you like coffee with a hint of cinnamon I recommend the dirty horchata! So good! Will be back;)

I have needed a breakfast taco place in my life and this place really filled a missing space in my stomach. So good. I would post a pic but I had to eat my food immediately after getting my hands on it.
