One of fairhope's oldest eating establishments. Definitely worth stopping in to see why it has stood the test of time. Great food. Excellent service. Atmosphere is peaceful. If you leave here hungry. It's your own fault

We stop by the other day, have a bite of breakfast after Mass. They are located next to a small park, when we arrived there were several people sitting out on the benches, however they were just enjoying the morning sun, not waiting for a table. We asked for a table for two and were immediately seated, yay!
We had the basic breakfast, eggs, sausage, toast…. And I had a couple of pancakes!! Our meals were terrific!! The wait staff was efficient, prompt, and checked on us often!
Thanks Julwin’s for a great start to our day!

Food here is consistently good. Had the shrimp and grits. I enjoyed the sausage dice and the spicy Viper cheese mixed in with the grits giving it a nice kick.
Shrimp could have been seasoned a tad bit more and side of hash browns were a littleto salty for my taste.

A decade and a half ago I brought my grandbabies and wife to this restaurant and swore I would never return. Then the food was very bad and the service is horrible. I was waiting for an appointment and forgot about this restaurant and walked in. I realized my mistake automatically and almost turned around. I decided to give it another shot. Big mistake service is horrible and the food was even worse than a decade and a half ago. If you’re not gonna make quality food or have a great service what is the point of opening a restaurant or staying in business.

Food was absolutely delicious. Best breakfast in fairhope hands down. Portions are big. A little pricey but if you’re in a budget don’t eat in downtown fairhope lol. We got the French toast breakfast, blueberry pancake breakfast, with an order of biscuits and gravy. The eggs were probably the best eggs I’ve ever had.

Genuinely some of the best breakfast food we’ve had! All four of us cleaned our plates off and we will definitely come back again when we come to town.

This is all the South eats in one place. Came here for the Shrimp & Grits after reading the rave reviews. Didn't know Gouda cheese was in there ! Yum to the max. We only waited a few moments to be seated and this place was packed. Service was great. My only issue with this place was the weak coffee. Barely had taste at all and we couldn't figure out why.

Excellent breakfast and friendly wait staff. I had shrimp & grits and biscuits & gravy. Both were great and I like how they cut up fresh sausage patties for the gravy. Shrimp tasted fresh and the bbq sauce was good. Abby had the traditional pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. She says “super yummy!” The perfect small town place to have an enjoyable breakfast. 👍🏻

Great spot! Delicious food, excellent service, nice prices. We both had omelets and 😍😍😍 loved them. Will be back ASAP.

This place is iconic! Was established in 1945. A breakfast location for the most diehard of local political hobnobbing. Known for crispy bacon, sausage, and huge pancakes. It is the bottomless cup of coffee drinkers that regularly call this place home! Great omelettes, waffles, biscuits/gravy, and french toast, too! As a whole, the food is well prepared and brought on those heavy old-fashioned diner white plates with the heavy ceramic coffee cups! A taste of Americana! Mayberry has nothing on this place! Great assortment of food selections at a reasonable price couple with a wonderful stroll through town makes for an experience for the memory books! Unfortunately, service can be more like a ghost town. My last visit took over an hour to get our order and there was hardly an acknowledgment of the unreasonable wait. If you're in the circle, your food hits the table about the same time you're seated. The rest of us must be patient. Nevertheless, I will continue to take my family to sit at a booth and endure the anticipated arrival of our food. Enjoy!
