Fairhope is truly blessed to count the Fairhope Roasting Company amongst its small business community. Rufus, Chase, Jennifer and the entire crew at FRC have been such a pleasure to work with. Rufus is a walking encyclopedia of coffee knowledge - it is obvious he lives, drinks and breathes coffee, and enjoys doing so. He is very knowledgeable with regards to the different beans/roasts that they have in store and can accurately articulate the flavor notes that each will impart to your morning cup. I have yet to find a coffee from FRC that I dislike, but I'm also super appreciative of the effort they have made to help me find the perfect roast for me. We buy our drip coffee and espresso beans direct from FRC, as well as our cold brew. Doing so has made an incredible difference in our coffee experience - highly recommend that you try it and see for yourself.
I first had this coffee at a hotel 12 hours away from my home town, I was not expecting to find good coffee anywhere but after having this I am shocked at how good it is! This is better than all the coffee in my home town and I’ve been a barista for 4 years and coffee lover for 7! I highly recommend. We drove an extra hour just to get some bags to come home with.
Absolutely LOVE the coffee (both roasted and cold brew!), but disappointed they aren't open on weekends. I came in from Birmingham, where they sell Fairhope Roasters at the Pig, to visit family and wanted to come to the store.
Pure premium coffee. If you're normal, you probably don't drink as much coffee as I do. However, if you're okay with gas station coffee or that stuff they give out at Lowe's on Saturday then I don't know you. Fairhope Roasting has a secret and it's a good one! The taste is pure, rich, bold, creamy, smooth, and I could go on but I'll keep it 'G' rated. It's perfect and I have had a lot of coffee to compare. I just hope they will let me set up an auto renewal for delivery every month. I'd lose my mind if I ran out. Keep it up! My coffee family I plan on visiting your roast one day and swimming in that sweet nectar!
I was skeptical and I even resisted trying it; but, once I did, I was hooked. They are absolutely some of the best coffee producers I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The flavored coffees are refreshingly subtle and maintain the true coffee flavor of a good roast. The special varieties are available at Warehouse Bakery and Doughnuts adjacent to the roasting company (I have not found the varieties elsewhere but the house blend is available at local grocery stores such as Piggly Wiggly, Publix, and Fresh Market in Spanish Fort). I grind my own beans and use a French press at home for optimum flavor from my standpoint. I do not normally drink flavored coffee but with their selection I routinely revolve through the toasted pecan, French vanilla, and Warehouse Blends. The only problem with trying their is coffee is that everything else pales in comparison. They even have "single source" coffees from places like Sumatra and Ethiopia. They are all worth a try.
I consider myself an iced coffee connoisseur - and this hands down the BEST iced coffee concentrate you can get your hands on. Perfectly refreshing on warm summer mornings! Amazing product that I would give more than 5 stars...if Google would allow.
Never been much of a coffee drinker, until I started drinking Fairhope Roasting Companies cold brew. That stuff is addicting and soooo good. We get it shipped up to St. Louis because we can't find anything even close to what they do at FRC.
I love it here. Some of the brews are hit and miss. They are getting more consistent with time. Must try the Judge Roy Bean. All in all it's a great taproom with a good atmosphere.
