Asked decaf coffee, received overpriced Americanos and not told
they were caffeinated. Tossed and turned til the wee hours.
Not a kind thing to do!

We go for the frozen Gelato, but they also have fresh baked goods, cakes and cookies. Lots of chocolate of every kind. They also have beer and wine. Open until 8 on some nights, it's a great way to finish ( or begin) a visit to downtown Fairhope.

I visited Fairhope Chocolate for the first time today. I will be back! I had such a difficult time deciding what to get since everything looks so delicious and decadent! I decided on the peanut butter pie. It has a nice thick layer of ganache on top and it tastes devine! The peanut butter filling is sweet and creamy and is a perfect complement to the the chocolate. Well done!

In addition, the staff was very friendly helpful.

Such a nice little place for some sweet treats! The woman working was so kind and took the time to explain the type of hot chocolate they have, and told us about her favorite chocolates even though we got there just before closing! Thank you for exceptional customer service.

I recently attended a retreat hosted by Southern Twist Yarns and Jule baked us the most delicious breakfast. We enjoyed croissants, bagels, cinnamon rolls and pound cake. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend any of her baked goods(and of course her sweets too). Cant wait for the new location to open!!!

We are new to the area and always try to buy local gifts for our families at Christmas, so I came here to scout gifts for them. The location of this place isn’t accurate on Google maps. I called to get directions and was hung up on, then after calling back and speaking to someone else regarding directions was given a new address, but little insight on how to get there despite standing on Fairhope Ave. Once we found the place, there was a handwritten note stating the credit card machine was broken, so I inquired about that when we got there and was told the sign was no longer relevant. There was no greeting when we arrived (we were the only customers in the building), and left unattended for most of the time we were there. You’d think that a place that prides themselves on being one of six distributors in the US of the finest Belgian chocolates would have more professionalism and hospitality. Overall, our first (and only visit) to this establishment will unfortunately be our last. First impressions matter, and this place just didn’t make a good one. It’s unfortunate, because there aren’t many local chocolate shops and we drove 40 minutes just to get there.

If you are in need of a quality chocolate, pastry or gelato get to Fairhope Chocolate. Our family have been loyal customers for over 8 yrs. Over that time we have tried every new item Chef Jule adds, taken all her classes over the years and stop in at least once a month. And if you need a housewarming or hostess gift, stop in for the sourdough.

We purchased the lemoncello pound cake on Sunday. It was recommended by employee. We drove home to Ms and had it later that night. It was very dry, tasteless, and hard. We won't be back! We spent 17.00.

Absolutely best King Cake I ever had.
